I just order the first few Sookie books. They should be here just as I finish reading the Twilight series for the umptenth time.

Have you watched Tru Blood? If so, I'll be interested to hear what you think. And you'll see why. The books are great either way. But they change my perspective on the show.

I have read all 3 books and almost done with book number 4

I have seen the movie at least 7 times!!!!! For my birthday my sister gave me a team edward tshirt!!!!

I LOVE the show...but the books are definitely better. They've definitely done some different(but ok) things with some of the characters on the show that isn't in the books and so I realize there are things in the books I will probably never see on the show...also the main vampire Bill is more likeable on the show than in the books. I prefer him not being that likeable like in the books. I prefer Sookie and Eric...

I was thinking while reading it that it would make a good movie! Supposedly they are working on a movie of Outlander, too-that I'm not so thrilled about. That book is way too long and detailed to make a good movie from it!

I started to read Outlander but it was a little "wordy" for me. I'm not intelligent or literate enough to enjoy things that are too wordy. I'll have to try it again when I'm feeling in a smarter mood.

Thanks! I'm considering that one. But no Alice and Jasper! I'm thinking I should just get a fresh copy of the book for them to sign...?

BTW - I finished book 5 of Sookie Stackhouse and I'm dying to get my hands on the rest. I'm waiting on the library. So tempted to just go buy them but it's just too costly for me right now. Book 9 is coming late this spring I hear. I'll be starting The Host shortly. Glad to see so many of you loved it! Can't wait to dig in.

I didn't like the first book of Sookie.. I hear it gets better... should I stick with it?? - You should definitely stick with The Host.. even if the first bit is sorta confusing

Wow, that did not help my image of her ("just like any other movie"-and looking bored stiff) and for those who says she's nervous ... she looked tame as a kitty. Just arrogant and bored. IMO Classic!

And it's sad when a guy (the interviewer) who came out againt the movie (as a reviewer) is the one that has to remind her that she is WRONG and that this is not any other movie. At least, even if he didn't like it, he had the sense to note that it is important as a phenomenon.

Hopefully this will not "spark" too many "flames!"

I know it seems like I'm vacilating but there are things I like and things I don't (don't we all?) and Taylor as Jacob is not my ideal. Although I may not care for Kristen, personally (LIKE IT MATTERS! but this is a fansite and it's fun, why not - plus it's been kinda of a slow Twi-news day with the inaugaration and all so I'll stir things up a bit), but I like her just fine as Bella.
