OK.. LOVE the interview with Taylor..he is such a cutie, and looks so excited! Oh yeah and hes getting ripped!!

As for Vanessa Hudgens..she (or Brenda Song) is not a good fit for our Twilight movies. She is a pretty girl, but i do not think she would be good for these movies.

Thank you for the Taylor interview. I think he looked plenty Native American, and if you look at Sam, he was most definitely the real deal. Not every Native American will look exactly the same. It's like any other ethnicity, there are different features, different shades of skin and hair, etc. When we used to visit my grandparents out in the Colorado I saw a lot of Native Americans who looked like Taylor. I'm glad they're keeping him!

Why is everybody hating on Vanessa Hudgens and other Disney Channel stars? I admit that I have a hard time picturing her as Leah, but I don't understand how overwhelmingly vehement y'all's responses were.

I just watched the interview with Taylor and my DH happened to comment that he thought his ears, nose and teeth were very wolf-like whatever that means. I hated Jacob in the books!!! I just could not picture him as attractive at all and I absolutely hated his personality but I think I will love him in New Moon!!!

I would have no problem with her as Emily, but she just isn't the right actress for Leah. Anyone that has read the books can tell she's just not right for Leah. For me at least, it has nothing to do with her association with the HSM movies. Not every actress/actor is right for every part. It would be like casting Vin Diesel as Carlisle. I love me some Vin, but Carlisle he is not. If they had been talking about Vin for the part of Carlisle, I would say the same thing..."not right for the part". I would be just as upset. It's about wanting the best person for the part.

I like Freida Pinto as Leah. She is really beautiful. I saw her on the Golden Globes last night and was thinking wow she could be Leah. Whatcha think?

Welll I didn't read the books until I saw the movie preview for the first time. So when I read the books I already had him in my head as Jacob. How could I not love Jacob with an adorable face like that? Probably if I hadn't seen the previews first, I wouldn't have liked him either.

That I completely understand. I agree she is not right for Leah, but it seemed some of the responses went well beyond that, they almost seemed personal.

to you as well!! Yeah once I picked up the books it was hard to put them down even to sleep. I just started reading "The Host". I agree with the others that said it, it is totally different from the Twilight series. After I'm done with this I'll either pick back up on one of the Karen Marie Moning series, or finally read that Jenny McCarthy book I've been meaning to read.

I thought the same thing! Freida is absolutely gorgeous and very talented. I'd love to see her as Leah.

Regarding the tattoo discussion: I would totally get a Twilight tattoo, I just have no idea what it would be or where it would go. Most of my body where I want to tattoos to be is already "spoken for"
