I'm back from visiting my boyfriend! I've gotten his mom and sister hooked, they are currently fighting over the copy of New Moon I leant them. My boyfriend just finished Breaking Dawn last night, and I think he's let my comparisons to Edward go to his head!

His sister had not seen the movie, so we went. I got to see it for time number 8. It's the last one, I swear. After the discussion on Rosalie's hindquarters, I did try to pay more attention during the cafeteria scene. Honestly, I didn't think it looked that bad at all. She is still breathtakingly gorgeous.

Really, I think all the roles were cast well. The only I would have done differently is Bella. Not that Kristin Stewart didn't do a good job, just that she isn't how I pictured Bella at all.

ETA: I get to go the mall and Hot Topic tomorrow! I haven't been since Thanksgiving (my stupid university town has no mall or Hot Topic). It will take a lot of self control not to buy every Twilight thing in the store!

I agree with you, Kristen Stewart grew on me after my 10th time seeing the movie, but I just pictured her differently. To me she is a little manly and Bella is soft and shy. One of my friends had mentioned the girl who plays Lenna in the Sister Hood of the Traveling pants and Rory Gilmore, her name slips my mind at the moment but I thought she would have been perfect.

Oh, and DH has VERY curly hair, and his senior picture (um, 1978?!) features his blond locks in a FULL blond afro. Yikes.

Kristen looks pretty much like I imagined Bella to look like. That hairpiece that they added to her hair made her that much Bella like to me. I just think it's her voice that no one was expecting, it's very deep. I think that's the only thing that makes Kristen masculine.

Speaking of that, I really love this promotional pic of Bella.

I am confident that SM wrote Twilight with ME in mind, and due to some fluke KS was inadvertantly cast in error.

At least that's what happened in MY world.

I went to Chili's with my DH last night and one of the waiters totally had Edward's hair (unfortunately that is the only feature that resembled Edward). I didn't say anything to my DH because he would have just thought I was crazy, but I made a mental note to come and tell all you folks who would understand.
