Kristen looks pretty much like I imagined Bella to look like. That hairpiece that they added to her hair made her that much Bella like to me. I just think it's her voice that no one was expecting, it's very deep. I think that's the only thing that makes Kristen masculine.

Speaking of that, I really love this promotional pic of Bella.

I agree she is how I imagined her to look but it is her voice that sort of ruined the whole image I had in mind. I think that everyone while reading the books, pictures themselves as Bella (I know I did because Edward is mine of course.) So it is probably hard to find the perfect person unless it is yourself.

Oh, she looks like Bella. But her voice is lower than I expected Bella's voice to be, she is waaaaaaaaaaaay too twitchy, too reserved, etc. I pictured Bella as shy, but not quite as melancholy. A lot of it just has to do with the intonation, personality, and mannerisms.

Don't get me wrong, I think she did a good job, it's just not how I pictured Bella.

(she laughs kind of unbelievingly-- actually, that's pretty stalkerish, much as I *heart* the kissing scene, I think they should have made it more like the book where she went "WHAT???!!")

I bought strawberry scented shampoo and conditioner yesterday because in Twilight Bella smells her hair and is reminded of her favorite shampoo - strawberry.

I bought DD strawberry shampoo before I started reading the books. We just started using it a few weeks ago, when her old shampoo ran out. She looks at me crazy when I sniff her at bedtime.





Convention Update: For anyone who's interested, all tix to the SF convention in Feb are posted. I'm pretty angry with my bff as I'm waiting for her to call back and pick a day. We can't do all 3 days bc there's no way we can both get sitters for that much time. I want to get the tix RIGHT NOW... I'm tempted to get gen admin for sat and sun even though they are non refundable. I want pics and autographs darn it!!!

So I tried to get away from the saga by opening a different book, a 3 book series actually, which a supervisor lent me. It takes place in Twilight Cove. And in the third book, the leading guy is an author and his pen name is Edward Cain. Why is my obsession so inescapable???

More obsessiveness: I was so excited when I pulled a new bottle of Dial soap from the cabinet, and it was Freesia with TWILIGHT Jasmine. Dork, yep!


Went to viewing #6 last night. I've NEVER gone to see any movie this many times in the theatre!

Anyway, this time I noticed that Edward's eyes do not dilate, especially in the biology scene you can tell this, his pupils are wide, while Bella's are extremely closed.

I noticed that too, I wonder why though do they not react to light? And I had another question, if they don't need to breath then how can they smell blood? Maybe this was already answered but I would love to figure it out.

I don't know about you all.. but I imagined Bella to be ME when reading the books! But yeah, I had no problem with Kristen as Bella. I just wished she smiled a bit more. I wanted to actually see the JOY she felt with being around Edward once she knew he was into her!

I would have been BEAMING in that movie!!

I was grinning through the whole darn thing!!! DD whispered to me at one point, "Mom what are you smiling at??"


And I am so glad I'm not the only one finding things that relate to Twilight. I was at the grocery store the other night and saw a candle that had "Twilight" in it and I got really excited and tried to take a picture for you all and DD said that it was weird.

Re-re-rereading Twilight and Edward says that he doesn't have to breathe, but without breathing he can't use his sense of smell, which he finds very discouraging. So they breathe only to smell. Hope that helps!

So I saw like two volvos today and each was silver but none were Edwards . I keep looking though. There was a silver one with a hot young guy in it but not our guy . My DD thinks I am nuts as I was doing this after work infront of the school. I never noticed so many Volvos in my life ..

I have an unhealthy obsession with a Teenage Vampire from a BOOK .

I am still going to have to go out and get my soundtrack . That is if DH is not going to get it for me . It was on my list .
I am so exhausted to day after work . I worked in a Junior HS today and it is so funny to be able to talk to the girls in the class about Twilight and they know all about it . IT is also kind of creepy makes me feel like a dirty old woman day dreaming about Edward and all ...

Ok Off to get ready for bed it has been a LONG day and the kiddies are all crazy here . My DS wants to come now and doesn't get that it is still one more night away .

One of my best friends brought me the CD to school, and also brought me a picture of RobPatt! I was so happy, they all know me so well. The music on the CD is so wonderful...

Especially Never think by Rob ( I had to look up the lyrics, he is a bit of a mumbler, but once I did, I feel in love, it is so perfect and sums up their relationship to a t.)

My mom asked me what I wanted for Christmas, so I took her to hot topic where Me and my oldest DD chose all twilight stuff.
My new tshirt is the I run with vampires one , my mom thinks we are totally nuts, I explained to her that she can not judge us just yet because she has not read the books or seen the movie. heheheh I will take her to see it this week


Oh and the CD has been playing nonstop in my car, my 2 DDs get a kick out of telling me what part of the movie the songs are from

His hair? Well.... its cute, but I like the longer better I think. I can see why they would freak out at his hair being cut. They must be filming in a couple of months.

My Aunt just called me to request the rest of the books, she started Twilight today and is going to finish it tonight. If I don't bring it I'm not allowed to come to Christmas dinner.
