Ok, it's poll time people!! Cut and paste the questions and fill in your own answers!!
1. Have you read all four books?
I think about 7 times. I kind of lost track
2. Who created you into a 'newborn' (i.e. who turned you on to the series?)
Actually, you all did. You managed to convince me it wasn't just some smutty story with no plot line (like the back cover made it sound).
3. How many times have you seen the movie...so far?
7, and I will be going for 8 next weekend because Aaron's (bf) sister hasn't seen it yet and wants to go with us.
4. Team Edward or Team Jacob?
Neither. I've never understood the team thing, plus everything is settled now that I've read Breaking Dawn.
5. What was your most favorite scene in the first book?
That's such an evil question! I don't know. I really like the dinner scne, or the first time Edward stays the night. Or the prom (Guinea Pig Barbie anyone?).
6. What was your favorite scene in the movie?
It was literally like two seconds, but when Jasper and Alice hold hands in the car on the way to Phoenix. That image always sticks with me.
7. Say you were the director for
New Moon, would you change anything from the first movie? Would you re-cast anyone?
Better special effects, better dialogue, a little more true to the book, definitely fewer montages! I would not recast anybody. They better leave Jacob alone!
8. Do you wish that
Midnight Sun, the unfinished book written from Edward's point of view, should still be young adult fiction or written with a more mature frame of mind?
It depends on what you mean by "adult". I do not like things that are overly sexual and frankly, that was what kept me from reading it in the first place. The back cover made it sound like a cheap, explicit romance. If she made it more sexual she would lose this fan. Now, if you meant adult in another way, I would not mind.
9. If you were Bella, would you want to become a vampire?
Are you seriously asking me this?
Of course!
10. Just what is it about Edward Cullen??
I think it's his devotion.
Bonus question
Do you think:
A: We should still not try and post spoilers to protect those who haven't finished the series OR
B: Should we put a disclaimer in the first post, and post freely from now on?
I agree with the others, putting them in white is good. It's just hard not to accidentally spoil something. I think those who haven't finished the books should read at their own risk!
