Same here, I am now re reading both Twilight and Midnight Sun!! I really liked hearing Edward's side of thing. Obviously she is a little vamped out now, but omg can you imagine all the possible books that could come out of this "family"?!

Oh, man, c'mon, BD is just SCREAMING "sequel!" at the end. Or companion series, or whatever. You just know that the whole Nesse/Jacob thing is going to have to be told. And also probably Nahuel, and further adventures with Zafrina et al, not to mention the whole VOLTURI thing is still left hanging. This is the biggest thing since Harry Potter; you know they're just going to keep throwing money at her until she continues the series.

At least, I devoutly hope so. :rolleyes1

Good morning everybody!

Hey, I had a question-- is it just me, or is it kind of weird in the movie, the kiss scene, where Edward throws himself away from Bella... actually, it looks like he's blown backwards, not like he pushes himself away... but anyway, what is with the "Stop!" thing? I guess that's him? but it sounds like some disembodied voice. Is it just me, or does that sound really weird?

I don't know. Everything got a little fuzzy after he said, "Hold still, I want to try something."

I held as still as I possibly could. puckerup: :faint:

Two years??? OH NO!!! I liked Midnight Sun more than any of the other books so far!!! In fact, the whole time I was watching Twilight I was thinking about Midnight Sun (or at least what I had read) and what Edward was thinking!

I read MS today at work :rolleyes1 and I swear if I get caught they won't be able to do anything to me because it's a true addiction. I Could Not Help Myself. I need to finish, but it really is amazing. It explains so much as to why he was acting the way he did and how he felt when she was around.

And honestly, I wouldn't care if it totally sucked, I just needed my Edward fix. I'm reading New Moon again, and I swear the pages of all the books are laced with crack.

My favorite line in the movie, "Hold still, I want to try something." :woohoo:

Hi, I'm Tonya and I'm a Twilightaholic. :woohoo:

Thought I would join in on all the fun since I have already read the books twice and will see the movie for the second time tomorrow.

Am I the only one who has to be like Mrs. Cope the school secretary about Edward Cullen and say to myself "too young, too young to think of that way." :rolleyes1

I would seriously read them forever. I was worried today ( at work ) that someday I will get bored with the books since I am on my 3rd go-round with them, and the movies since I fully plan on seeing them each time they are out as much as possilbe, then buying the DVDS, then whatever collector box set they come out with. And I need a t-shirt. And some other cool stuff.

I also think I will change my name to Bella, and try to get really pale and move to Forks.

oh, and one more thing before I stop my crazed posting.
And then I will also promise to get my mind out of the gutter. ;)

Do ya think everything is sparkly????

Welcome Tonya!! And nope, you are not the only one. We just have gotten past the too old thing. He's over 18, fair game.

Well, I guess if I won't go to jail then I am okay with it. ;) Although I never saw myself as the Cougar-type before Twilight came out. :rotfl2: Who knew what I was missing? :rolleyes1

You know, the one thing I'm really excited about for New Moon is the casting of Leah, because, well, I just love her. :p

Really? I'm more interested in seeing Seth. Leah I can take or leave.

I'm interested in seeing how they do the "hallucinations", especially during the cliff dive. I also want to see Volterra.

I think the birthday party scene will be really good too.

I want Jane...I want Jane...I cant wait to see what they do with her..I absolutely love to hate her

thanks Brier Rose...wow so it hasnt even been released in Australia yet??? woah...

I found the Midnight Sun interview I was thinking of. It was an interview with EW. Here is what Stephenie had to say:

When you returned home after a grueling tour for Breaking Dawn, you discovered that your unfinished manuscript for Midnight Sun had leaked onto the Internet, and you released a statement saying you were permanently shelving the story. Do you still feel the same?
The funny thing about that statement is I didn't actually write the majority of it. I wrote about three single-spaced Word document pages of just real pain — with sort of a laugh on the end so everything was kind of tongue-in-cheek. And there were lawyerly people who thought it just wasn't a good way to do it. I didn't want to feel misrepresented in the letter and other people didn't want me to be too emotionally vulnerable. So in the end only the one or two sentences written by me seem really jarring, and people didn't get that there was sort of a joke in there. For example the part that's me is where I said, ''If I wrote it now everybody would end up dying.'' But that was a joke! And it sounded so serious amidst all the lawyer talk and I think my fans thought, Wow, she's threatening to kill everyone! [Laughing] I felt kind of bad about that. I never felt any anger, actually. Just a lot of sadness. I mean it was a sucker punch — like someone came up behind you and just hammered you in the kidneys and you had no idea it was coming.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Is Midnight Sun still dead to you, or can you see finishing and publishing it in the future?
STEPHENIE MEYER: It's really complicated, because everyone now is in the driver's seat, where they can make judgment calls. ''Well, I think this should happen, I think she should do this.'' I do not feel alone with the manuscript. And I cannot write when I don't feel alone. So my goal is to go for, like, I don't know, two years without ever hearing the words Midnight Sun. And once I'm pretty sure that everyone's forgotten about it, I think I'll be able to get to the place where I'm alone with it again. Then I'll be able to sneak in and work on it again.

nice so everybody STOP TALKING ABOUT IT....get it out of your minds you obsessed fiends.....

oh and btw...all you freak woman who want Rob...he doesnt want kids or anybody with them :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: so your all SSA OUT!!!! mwah hahahaha

Then Utah Mama started our wonderful first Twilight thread in Jan and posted about TwilightMoms - joined there while it was still a small group of women and now it has grown to almost 20,000:scared1: Thanks Utah Mama:thumbsup2

20,000 dis-twilighters alone! Wow!

I took my brother and husband to the movie, though they don't want to read the books so I can't really count them...except maybe as weak human males who just do the bidding of all of us strong vampire women. What do you ladies think? haha So as of right now, I have a coven of 9, including myself.

Coven-O-9... has a certain ring to it. ::listen::

Yes, I agree... bidding do-ers... we all need them!

. We are 13 strong and looking for more. Megan in turn has brought in Anna. We are now trying to bring in the Brownie troops moms.

OMG The Girl Scouts! They can really recruit! Good Job GillieRose!

OK. I'm going to join you guys if I may.

I doubt that I'll get to see the movie until it comes out on DVD. Going with DH is out of the question and my best friend isn't interested. Silly people.

SSB?!!!! Cool.

Sign me up! "My name is Dodie and I'm a Twilightaholic."

Hi Dodie!

:lmao:

Honestly, you should... you really, really should go see the movie by yourself. Seriously.

I don't know that I won't reward myself with another viewing on my birthday in a few days.

So glad that I discovered Edward **swoon** and this thread. :)

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday Dear Luvs2sams, and here is some Cake :cake:

Enjoy your present to yourself... I think it's a great idea. :lovestruc

So I will be going for a sixth time tonight.

Is that a record?

Ok, we have Eeyores Butterfly with 6. Can I get a 7.... any 7's out there???? :confused3

I read MS today at work :rolleyes1 and I swear if I get caught they won't be able to do anything to me because it's a true addiction.

Lucky you! My favorite, though, is a friend of mine who was sneaking away from her guests on Thanksgiving to go to the toilet to read 10 pages at a time.

OMG!! Baahahahaha:rotfl: I dunno, but I wouldn't look away if I had the chance! LOL

I wonder how far the Edward books will go. I mean with the intense he feels with just a minor touch of Bella, what would a full on kiss do?!?!
Blow his mind or what??

So I don't know if this has already been posted or not...but I was watching Twilight again tonight, and I noticed that the picture in Bella's hospital room is a black and white drawing of a ballet studio. Perhaps it is the same as what Alice was drawing?;) Also, when Bella goes into her room to pack her bag you can see Edward at the door standing up against the wall. I wonder how Charlie missed him. :confused3 I have to say that I am totally addicted to this movie, the soundtrack, the score etc. There really needs to be a 12 step program or a support group.

I just keep hoping I will wake up with feathers in my hair.......:lmao:

Yeah, I need the program too. I got my entire workplace to listen to the Twilight CD yesterday, TWICE!! Yeah....... the addiction has moved to the work place!! :lmao:

I just got back from my sixth time seeing it- after today it was exactly what i needed. Some things that have not been said:

-Anybody else notice the giant cross at the bottom of the stairs when Bella first enters the Cullen house? I'm assuming this is the cross that Carlisle's father carved. I do wish we had gotten Carlisle's story. I really wanted to see the painting of Carlisle with the Volturi.

-Bella doesn't eat meat in the movie. She has a Gardenburger, salads, etc. I find it ironic that she is a vegetarian in the movie (or at least eats like one) given what the future holds for her. I do wish they had shown her cooking for Charlie, it really underscores her role as a caretaker of both her parents.

-They never mention the Denali clan or the fact that that is where Laurent went. This becomes important in later books.

-I was wrong about the curtain, I'm not even sure it is a beaded curtain. However, something does move outside her window when she wakes up and there is a noise that sounds a lot like something very fast going out the curtain. He was definitely there!

So I had a thought tonight.... if you could change, add, take away ONE thing from each of any of the books.. what would it be?

I would probably add alot more detail to when Bella finally reunites with Edward in Italy... to me the book was just way to plain. ANyone else?
