Good Morning!

I posted last night, frustrated that I couldn't view Midnight Sun. Well, I'm at work now ~ and it opens perfectly! Looks like the version of Adobe that I have at home is too old to open this file. Shwew ~ I'm so glad I can finally see it! :woohoo: Many thanks to everyone who helped me out ~ including LCTsMom who directed me to this new thread! ;)

Now...did you know you can't print the darn thing?!?!? I can't exactly sit at my desk and read this...pretty sure the boss won't find that appropriate! :confused3  Looks like I'll be staying after work to read it. Ohhh, what we don't go thru for our reading habits, huh??? :)

We're counting how many people we "turned" into Twilighaholics... did I convert you or did you read just due to the hype?

LOL- I better add mine :thumbsup2I guess I got in before the major hype. I found Twilight last December so I am having my 1 year anniversary - lol

My SIL, who knows I like Vamp books, asked me to read the series to see if it would be ok for my niece. I read the first book and immediately went out and bought the rest of the series.

Then Utah Mama started our wonderful first Twilight thread in Jan and posted about TwilightMoms - joined there while it was still a small group of women and now it has grown to almost 20,000:scared1: Thanks Utah Mama:thumbsup2

You guys are so funny...covens and makers.

I was "made" by a friend from church years ago (weird I know). We were both teaching the nursery age children and so we had time to talk during snacks and playtime. We're Mormon, as is Stephenie, so we paid close attention to her and the books.

I have since "changed" my mom, my 2 sisters, 2 cousins, an aunt, my sister-in-law, and a neighbor. I took my brother and husband to the movie, though they don't want to read the books so I can't really count them...except maybe as weak human males who just do the bidding of all of us strong vampire women. What do you ladies think? haha So as of right now, I have a coven of 9, including myself.

As a matter of fact, my copy of Breaking Dawn (which I read the weekend it came out) just returned to my hot little hands last night after making the rounds.

Good morning everybody!

Hey, I had a question-- is it just me, or is it kind of weird in the movie, the kiss scene, where Edward throws himself away from Bella... actually, it looks like he's blown backwards, not like he pushes himself away... but anyway, what is with the "Stop!" thing? I guess that's him? but it sounds like some disembodied voice. Is it just me, or does that sound really weird?

I was "made" by seeing they where making a movie about the book and decide to read it before the movie came out.

I "changed" my nieces Mandee, Megan and Liz, my friends Laura and Cheryl, my husband Mark and my sons kindergarten teacher Mrs Jennings. My husband brought in Liz, Tracie, and Becky from his office. Laura brought in her neighbor and Cheryl brought in her 3 nieces. We are 13 strong and looking for more. Megan in turn has brought in Anna. We are now trying to bring in the Brownie troops moms.

Good afternoon everyone. Just got done reading midnight sun. MAn, I hope she finishes it. I LOVE seeing Edwards point of view!

As for the kissing scene, I took it as he was telling himself to stop. He is trying to show restraint even as Bella is pulling him down on her, he knows it's best that it doesn't go that way. I even think at this point, he still doesn't trust himself physically around her.

Anyone else?

Yes! Good idea, I need the audiobooks! Yes, yes, yes! Thanks for mentioning that. I'm going to put it on my Santa list ASAP. :santa:

I love your "To Do" list!

Can you get the Twilight Collectors on it's own then, since it's your favorite.. and then the box set of the hardbacks?

While I'll take the books anyway I can get them...the audiobooks are not quite the same as reading it yourself but still very cool to hear the story told with maybe a different tone then you might have given it when reading it.

Just so everyone knows, I found my Wish list on Google Images, I didn't actually come up with it myself. In fact, I'm not even sure who made it, I just thought it was cute!

Yes Travel Mel...that is exactly how I'm going to buy the books! I can't wait to get them in my little hands...there goes Christmas!!! :rotfl:

I love that wish list, too. And by the way, I'm a huge U2 fan...have seen them more times than I can recall over the past 20+ years (gasp! Did I just say that?!? :scared1: )

Too funny... with you on that one. Even flew to Salt Lake City from Orlando to catch one of last tour dates. :o

Just wanted you all to know:

I just went up to my bedroom......and Edward wasn't there. :sad1: He must be out hunting.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Edward would never do that to me. He looooooves me. :lovestruc

But I would be willing to share.

you guys are trippin' ...he's sitting right here beside me and laughing his butt off at all you wacked out women:lmao: ...

ooops...can't believe I didn't catch that when I reviewed my post...I wasn't even working at the bookstore yet in 2003 either!

My apologies...what I meant to say was "I've been wanting to read them since I first saw Twilight on the shelves in 2005"

yeah right...you were just trying to make us think you are an ancient and hang with the Volturi:lmao:

Trailer for Rob's new movie Little Ashes...

I want it...bad...
And that's not what I meant! :rotfl:

I wonder how weird that is going to be...Im sure I will end up seeing it because my dd loves Robert and has been going on about this movie for awhile

Does anyone her watch True Blood on HBO? Lots of similarities- and Twilight is much better- but it's good as well!

yeah we had a discussion a ways back about that...I do love the show though...but thanks for reminding me that its off season right now:rolleyes2:rotfl:

Does anyone know how much money the movie has made so far?
