I'm a huge Pirates of the Caribbean/Johnny Depp fan and I can honestly say, I wasn't nearly as obsessed with those movies as I've been with Twilight. I just don't understand! My kids even bring it up.

okay, so i saw the movie for the third time this morning, i wanted to pay more attention to backgrounds and see the hospital blooper. something caught my eye though and it really bugs me...alice and rosalie have pierced ears how did they pierce their ears. if the body heals itself while transitioning to vamp then their ears would have healed too, and then since they are stone they couldn't pierce them after the fact. or did i put too much thought into it?

i love the movie, but i still can't stand the score, its too over-dramatic, 90210-like for me.

For those of you who lend your books out, how do you do it?

I first bought Twilight in Papeback, and then after the third read it was starting to look a bit battered so I bought it in hardback. I then purchased te movie cover paperback a little later, so I lend out the paperback copies. When the boxed set became available I purchased that, so I now have four copies of Twilight and two of every other book.

That bothered me too!!!! Even if it I lived in the sunniest place in the US I wouldn't leave my window down.

It also bothered me in the books and the movie that they would just ditch school and the school never noticed. I keep thinking in my head - how can this be when people can't take their kids out of school to go to Disney World and they are just leaving school whenever they want. Don't they take attendance at Forks High School?

The ditching bothered me too. I am a grad student in education and one of the things we had to learn about was the school funding formula. Schools are provided money not based on enrollment, but based on average daily attendance. So when kids aren't there the school loses money. I always wonder if the Cullens give the school money since they are dragging down the ADA?

Sadly, my height and the fact I am frequently mistaken for an elementary schooler is the only thing that would make it possible for me to play Jane. I am fat and not very attractive, so there's no way I could pull off the rest of the physical stuff. Plus, she's so eeeeeeeeeeeeeevil. If I ever were to be in a movie (not likely) I wouldn't want it to be a mean character.
