Minnieme...While Edward is my "one true", Jasper is also VERY cute! He looks better every time I see the movie and don't you just love when he tells Victoria "Well, I think we can handle that!"... and the way he plays with his bat!! WOW!

Yay! I'm not the only one who goes ga-ga over Jasper when they play baseball!

His bat skills are definitely admirable!

I've been looking at a lot of the designes on Cafe Press. Getting ideas from the stickers and shirts. I still can't decide on my fav and whether or not to tweak it before I put it on my skin!

Regarding what some were talking about earlier re: New Moon and the struggle to get thru it...I just found this on Stephenie Meyer's site and it explains things perfectly for me. Thing is, I was the same way thru most of the books...couldn't put them down, couldn't find a good stopping point to fix dinner, do laundry and on one occasion, go to work! (I actually called in!) I knew during New Moon that I would be going back to read them at a more leisurely pace once I knew the outcome!! Here's what SM wrote:

When the advanced reading copies began to fall into the hands of my fans, I asked people read New Moon twice, promising that I would explain why later. It's later, and this is why: the first time through New Moon, I've found that readers are so anxious about the absence of Edward that they can't settle into the middle portion of the book. They skim and speed read and flip ahead until, at last, they find him again. However, at that point they've missed the main section of the novel almost completely. On a second reading, knowing that Edward will return to the story at the proper place and time, the reader can slow down and enjoy the wondrousness that is Jacob Black.

I agree about vanessa h. i can not picture her in any twilight roles not even emily's... but new moon was my favorite book and although i bawled like a baby when edward left i didnt skip thru on my first read i read it completely and got it...it sets up the next 2 novels nicely in explaining the connection between jacob and bella and why they are so close i mean come on he pulled her out of that awful depression and for that alone he became very enduring to me anyway.....and it really does become very telling when we finally get to renessme being born and what happens after! he is meant to be in her life they just didnt get why until BD. to me jacob is as important to the story as edward and bella... i may be the only one who feels this way or at least in a minority....i am still team edward but without jacob it wouldnt be the same story.... i am still suprised at how obsessed i have become with this saga and how many times i have read each book...i am a harry potter fan and i didnt come near as obsessed as i am with twilight it is just nice knowing there are so many of us and that we can all have views that may differ but dont diminish our love of the story nor our respect for each other as fans!! sorry i tend to be longwinded...oh and side note Rob said new moon was his fav also although for a different reason than mine(he liked it cause edward was missing for most of the book)

Ok I'm going to be lazy here and not go back a page, but somone just posted a quote from Stephenie's site about NM. Ironically, I was reading that info probably the same time it was being posted here. Hahaha ... I've read MS and the outtakes and extras for Twilight and it occurred to me today that I should read the ones for NM, so I did. I've been very good at not reading book material for nearly a month now and distracting myself with other books. But now that I've gone back - and reading "new" Twi material at that - my obsession has gone from simmering back to boiling and I'll scream if Stephanie doesn't put out another Cullen book - SOON!
Back to my point - yes I did have one! - have you read the outtakes and extras? What do you think? I cracked up over the "scholarship" one for NM. But I'm glad it was cut.

That was me! Yes, I've read everything on her site now! I liked the part about the scholarship! As, if Bella wouldn't know who was behind that!! LOL

I really wish Midnight Sun was out (complete) so I could read it and Twilight at the same time. That's what I did with the first 12 (it was 12, right?) chapters and I loved reading Bella talk about faces or expressions Edward would make and then read MS and see what Edward was thinking as he made the face or expression and vice versa!

I LOVE Jacob. He is an integral part of the story.

Delurking to join the thread goodvibes ) and say that it's good to know I'm not the only one thinking of doing this! Seeing that you have will push me over the edge to do it too.

I have to ask though, did you print out MS? If so, how long did it take? I think my poor printer might die (isn't it like 250 pages long?).

I've been lurking since before Christmas. It's nice to finally join you all!! I checked out Twilight from the library the day the movie was released and within 3 weeks had read the whole series. I still can't believe how much I enjoy these books. I also enjoyed the fanfiction that Carribbeanprincess posted the link for. Can anyone else recommend any good fanfiction??
