i just read that rob has dropped out of the film parts per billion due to scheduling conflicts with new moon.

OME!! I had to look it up and it must be true:

MTV News has exclusively confirmed that Pattinson is dropping out of “Parts per Billion,” the eagerly anticipated indie film he was scheduled to begin shooting in Los Angeles this month. Although co-star/producer Rosario Dawson had expressed enthusiasm about working with the “Twilight” heartthrob as recently as December 16, a representative for Pattinson confirmed that he is no longer involved.
“What you heard is correct,” the 22-year-old star’s agent, Nicholas Frenkel, replied to an MTV News query Tuesday (January 6). “Unfortunately, the prep time and production schedule on ‘New Moon’ haven’t left enough time for Robert to work on ‘Parts per Billion’ in the first quarter of this year.”

I just finished Eclipse for the...oh, I don't know how many times I've read it! I just love it. I'm getting ready to move onto Breaking Dawn again.

Oh, guys, I was so excited! I got my order from Barnes and Noble last night! A couple of things I ordered that pertain to this thread, 1. The Original Score to Twilight (which I played in the car today and I LOVE!!!) and 2. Dead Until Dark, the first Sookie Stackhouse book. I'm iffy on the Sookie Stackhouse so far. I knew it would be totally different than Twilight, it's just taking some getting used to, I guess. Hopefully I can get more of a chunk of it read during DS' naptime.

RE: Dead Until Dark (Sookie Stackhouse) - I'm liking it but to be honest, I liked "Darkfever" (a totally different series by a totally different author but it was REALLY good) better. However, I'm going to take iluvthemouse's advice and give it more time.

I was exactly the same way-then I finished the Twilight books and felt lost. Thankfully that's worn off again and I'm able to read other things. It was a very strange feeling-like I'd been hypnotized! Of course, nothing else I've read since has had that effect.


I might have to get on Facebook-now I feel like I'm missing something! My husband will think I'm so strange. I'm already into the same music my kids are into because of Twilight. I got an Ipod for Christmas and bought the Twilight Soundtrack and some Muse and Blue October I think he thinks I'm having a mid-life crisis

Me and my friend Alice (I'm Bella, she's Alice) made bracelets. We bought the same little glass hearts it looked like you have, and we added beads for each character. A dice for Alice, a little wolf for Jake, a purple one for Esme, blue for Carlisle, dark blue for Jazz, black and silver for Rose, brown for Emmett, etc. And red and black spacers. It's pretty neat!

I read the first book the day before I saw the movie and then the rest the few days after. So when I read them, I had him pictured and heard his voice in my head when I read Jacob in them. I'm still re reading Breaking Dawn and loving it. Another question in white:

When Jacob is talking about finding a concentration of sent as though a gathering were interrupted when they received the news about Bella, what do you think it was? I'm leaning toward a baseball game myself.

I'm starting The Pagan Stone by Nora Roberts today. I've also managed to go through the last two Harry Potter books for a second time each, partly to get myself refreshed for the movie in July, and partly to prove I wasn't completely taken over by Twilight.

I say that sometime after the DVD comes out we set up a chat...wherever we can do that... and agree upon a set time to start the movie. That way we can all virtually watch it together and chat along with it! I know this is a ridiculous idea, but it could be fun if we could get it to work!!

It was an event I attended as a "premier party" type thing. IT was held at the Viewpoint Inn which is where the prom in the movie was held. You can see pics if you click on the "CLICK ME" in my siggy.

Sorry for the late answer, I was going back to read the stuff I missed and I missed this..

What I have read of the Highlander series is good. The difference between the two is that the Highlander series has pretty graffic "adult situation scenes". They usually last several pages. In fact the first one I read was the Immortal Highlander. I had told my mom about the book and she asked to borrow it. On the way to my mom's house my DH picked it up and opened it to a page and began to read. After he read a little he said "you are NOT letting your mom read this, it's practically porn." Well I took it to her anyway and I don't even think she finished it b/c she got to the first "adult scene" and she said that it was "just way too graffic and just flat out filth." I bought all the other books and started to read the first one, but that was right before I got the Twilight series and I just haven't gone back and starting reading them again.
