We saw it for the third time last night. I just love it, in spite of the quirkiness of it. Thanks for the tip about iTunes having the score available. :worship: I downloaded it and now have the score and soundtrack intertwined so I have the 35 songs in sequential order. :lovestruc

man it stinks I think its because alot of you are new readers and still all caught up in it and so the excitement is still there but its been a long time since I read the books(well except breaking dawn) and my obsession has dwindled and now that the movie is over Im just not excited about anything...when they start filming new moon I will be happy but right now Im just feeling blah:sad2:

Oooh, I just looked it up-- she does touch him in biology in the BOOK, but in the movie it's in the car, when they both reach for the controls.
In the book that is the first time she touches his skin, but in the movie it is when they are in the volvo.

OME (ha ha!) you are so totally AWESOME for finding that. Here's what happened. I read Midnight Sun after the movie and that's where I must have noticed them touching in Biology. Too funny! Thanks for researching that!

I watched closely for that the third time

:lmao:

Nice!

-I also got a kick out of when Bella meets his family. I think this is my faovrite thing they added in. Catherine Hardwicke really managed to convey that awkwardness of first love and meeting the family for the first time.

I didn't like it when Esme said to Rosalie about the broken glass, "Pick it up.... NOW." That seemed lame. The other parts were cute though. Also when Bella brings Edward home they added the "shotgun" scene which I loved.

Did anybody else notice that when they did the flashback of the Cullens meeting the Quileutes that Rosalie was not with them? This makes no sense because the order in which they joined the family was Edward, Esme, Rose, Emmett. The only two who weren't with them when they met the wolves were Alice and Jazz.

Did not notice that, interesting point....I did think their clothing was funny!

EDIT:
No, the woman in that scene is Rosalie. There are some set pics of when that scene was filmed. The only one missing is Esme.

Ahhh...

Lynn.. what about Midnight Sun?? That's getting me going right now!

I'm about to read "A Great and Terrible Beauty" .... I'll let you know how that goes. Also, the twilightmoms have a "Stephanie's book of the month" thing and this month it is Hunger Games... dunno if that might help!

EDIT: Lynn.. what about The Host!!?? It's REALLY good. By Stephanie Meyer.. same author.

I went to go see it again today. It was my second time and I went alone. There were 2 other woman there alone, a group of 3 teenagers and a group of 2 teens. It was great. No giggling like the first time I saw it with a packed theater. I got to really immerse myself in the movie. I noticed things I didn't before and I watched Rob more closely. I really think he did a fantastic job. I loved this movie more the second time around! DH said he wants to go see it with me, third times a charm!LOL;)

Ditto for me on the solo viewers the second time. Let me know how DH liked it!

Here's the set pic I was talking about:

It's out already. I downloaded it from iTunes on Monday.

I saw the movie for the 4th time today. It was a 10:45am showing, I thought it would be pretty empty since it's a weekday and very early, but I was wrong. It was packed! Which I wasn't expecting at all. I saw it alone this time, so that was very nice. I got to take in a lot of stuff I hadn't seen before. Also, people were very well behaved, no screaming or giggling. There was a girl who screamed "Kiss already!" during the kiss though... Oh, and there were a lot of guys there too, not with company, just guys by themselves which was kinda strange.

I did notice a new thing. During the hospital scene at the end, the TV in Bella's hospital room is playing scenes from the Ballet Studio and then it plays the video of little Bella. I thought that was very cool, kinda like Bella remembering.

THANKS SO MUCH CP!!!!

So did you catch Edward mouthing "I Love you" to Bella in the car this time? In the garage, I mean? Let me know!

Also cool about the tv in the hospital, hope to go again this weekend- we shall see!! :)

OMG YOU ROCK!!!!!! Thanks so much for this!! I am going to have to find the CD this weekend. Do they have the music from the trailer on it? Also, what is your favorite part of the score? THANKS!!!! Happy Turkey DAY!!! :goodvibes

I've been getting borderline compulsive about the movie. I went to see it on the 21st and we got there really early to wait in line. Got in the theater, got great spots, trying to contain our excitement... then about 10 minutes before showtime, I started to feel less than fabulous. Twenty minutes later I was in the midst of a full-fledged stomach virus. I was SO disappointed that I think it was actually making me sicker worrying about missing the movie. Talk about terrible timing.

So once it cleared up, I went again by myself. LOVED IT. I have heard the various problems people had with it, but a little bit of cheesiness wasn't going to scare me off. The books were a little bit cheesy too but I still loved them! So now I have been going approximately every other day, usually to the late show after my kids get to bed.

I'm 27, a married accountant with 2 kids who thought she was beyond the teenage fangirl phase, but Robert Pattinson apparently earns an exception to that.

Oh, that's horrible. :(
It's happened to me in other movies before, so I know how it feels.

*SIGH*

so I didn't get to the movie again today....and some of you here have seen it like 4 times already!!! My only hope is tomorrow ( are movie theatres open on turkey day?) or waiting till SATURDAY when DD is with her father....although I may take her with me on friday, but I know there would be a great debate over Twilight or Bolt.....

Also, has anyone seen the pic of Kristen on TMZ? She's ah...appears to be smoking something.....:rolleyes1

I saw those too. I would think an ordinary person would have to be pretty stupid to smoke "something" on their front steps in a huge city, but a celebrity? What was she thinking?

Thanks for the pic CP. I looked hard during the scene but it was kind of hard to tell. Regardless, Esme should have been there because she was the one changed immediately after Edward. In fact, during the movie Bella says something along the lines of (can't remember the exact quote) "first with you, and then with Esme." It's weird that they left Esme out.
