I just ordered our tix for this Friday at 4:45pm. DH said he heard on tv that "guys like the movie because of the action scenes" so he said he wanted to go. Also DD -almost 10 wants to go. She really isnt into the series but she hates to miss anything. LOL

We've got our tickets for 3:50 p.m. on Friday. DH will be out of town, so it's just me and the kids. I don't think they'll be able to concentrate in school knowing that when they get home we're going straight to the movies.

aww...I think alot of people are worried that the movie isnt going to be up to their expectations...these books have built up such a frenzy among people all over the world and with how we have all born witness to books turned into movie chaoses we are scared that this will happen here...I honestly think it will all be fine and we will all enjoy the movie as long as people dont knit pick at it...there has to be changes and enhancements to scenery, wording, etc.. to make it work so just go in there and let yourself enjoy the movie as it is and not try to compare it to the book...

I know I am worried it won't be as good and then the others won't be made, but everything I have heard so far about it it sounds like it will be pretty amazing and pretty true to the book.

Wow, first person I've seen completely slam the movie. So far reviews, the few we've gotten which are more like teasers, have been fairly positive. But I'm not one for reviews, I don't even like to read them until after seeing the movie.

I do not read reviews for movies until after. Too many reviewers are overly critical and very nit picky. I'd rather go in without too many expectations either way.

Really, I'm not expecting any good reviews from critics, mostly because they haven't read the books and have no idea what the story is really about. That was the only major problem I had with the big review that was published on a spanish site, most of the points the author criticized where pretty much what happens in the book; like the fact that the film focuses on Edward and Bella and the secondary characters aren't developed as much.

I have to agree with the "Flowers in the Attic" comment- the movie was NOTHING like the book and I read EVERYTHING that VCAndrews put out.

The plot of the movie did not bother me nearly as much as the fake wigs. (Paging Dr. Cullen, your hair is fake platinum, your HAIR is Fake Platinum!

Ugh. I had a dream last night that the movie was horrible. All of the scenes were changed and the movie cut off two times. When I went to ask the manager if it would be fixed he started yelling at me about wanting a free ticket handout.

Usually I only have nightmares like that when I have a big test coming up.

I read that they tried to change the line "and so the lion fell in love with the lamb" and Steaphanie said alright BUT just so you know.. there are people with that line TATOO'd on their ankle soooo... keep that in mind. So they didn't change it.

Okay so yes i am obsessed , i will try to post my pictures of my collection this weekend ,, I had a set back yesterday after the errand run ,my sister thought she was going into labor so i was at the hosp till about 9 pm when they let her go home ... I told her that if she went into labor this weekend she was on her own ... . It is her 3rd baby so she can survive right??

I think she makes him nervous. He always says she's intimidating. I don't think she seems like a lot of fun. Pretty serious. He seems like a silly guy.

So...that review was terrible. I also don't really pay attention to what critics say, I'd much rather make my own judgment on a movie. Oh and those premier pictures are gorgeous
