I totally agree!!

Ok - Is it sad that I have 28 minutes till work is over and I'm only thinking about how fast I can get everything done at home so I can continue and hopefully finish New Moon tonight? Why do I have to take 30 minutes to drive home? Is it necessary to eat dinner? Do you think I can convice DH that he must take AND pick up my daughter to/from cheer tonight? LOL!

Oh and by the way - I'm totally TEAM EDWARD! :cloud9:

Fake a really bad headache. I did that with my DD a few times so I could read in peace. :)

She did a voice for Into the Wild, and was also in The Messengers recently. She has been around a while. Also, Zathrua: a Space adventure.;)

Run and get your copy of Twilight - It's so addicting. I just started the end of last week and I'm almost done with the second book. I sure wish I had more hours to devote to reading, lol!

One thing for sure - It has really brought back my love for reading. I forgot how much I LOVE a good book that makes you yearn for more. :cloud9:

I plan on getting the first book soon. I'm driving down to Florida in a couple weeks so I'm thinkin I can read it when it's not my turn to drive!

What else had Kristen Stewart been in?

She also did a small movie called Speak, also based on a book, that airs on Lifetime all the time. It's actually my favorite movie of hers and she does fantastic in it, especially because it's a very challenging role and she was so young when she did it. I suggest everyone check that one out.:goodvibes

That's right...now I remember her in it. Has she been in anything since? I'm still not at all sold on the casting of her (and a few others) but I'm going to go and see with an open mind when it comes out.

she was in IN the Land of Women(I think that's the title) with Adam Brody last year or the year before..the movie wasn't good and she wasn't good in it either..I'm not a fan of hers or her acting style and I still feel like she was the wrong choice for Bella.

I totally agree!!

LOL- no problem with any of that... of course your husband should pick up your daughter, and while he is at it- pick up food and bring the food to you so you can continue to read

It was the only way to end the madness. I have a problem I tell you. There should be a 12 step program for this...

I am with you ! I breifly considered throwing mine away some time ago and the thought made me cry but I really do think I'll like lock them away up in my attic or something because normal life has to go on!!

Thanks for the pic Caribbean Princess! I was really hoping they would do a flashback of scene of Edward's history and it looks like I got my wish!

As far as Kirsten Stewart- I'm waiting for the movie to make up my mind, but I disagree that Bella is unemotional. I think Bella is shy and reserved, but in the books we see plenty of emotion, even when there are others around. Since we have newbies to the thread, I don't want to spoil anything, but I think in the end of book one, quite a bit through book 2 and even more through books 3 and 4 we see a wide range of emotions from Bella when she is in situations that she feels comfortable in.

I'm feeling you on the outfits, but from the books I get that she is kind of conservative, and maybe it looks different in the movie since we are only seeing bits and pieces. I personally will just be checking Edward out, so she could be wearing a monkey suit for all I care.
She was supposed to be dressed by Alice, who has a sense of style. The one picture posted earlier shows her coming down the stairs in her father's house. That's not where she got dressed!!!

I liked the way it was written in the book. No wonder she looks frumpy if she's left to her own resources to get dressed.

Maybe in the movie ALice dresses her at her dad's house?

I read some of the outtakes on Stephanie's website and there's one that was cut out of the book from the prom. they get ready at the Cullens and Edward takes Bella back to Charlie's and he has cooked a dinner for her there. Maybe the movie has combined part of this in?

If you haven't read them, go read some of the extras and outtakes, they're great. The prom one was VERY girlie- all about getting ready, and there's pictures of the dresses for Bella and Alice. At least I think that's where I saw them.

One of the deleted scenes is of Alice and Rosalie (before Steph realized Rosalie was mean) getting Bella ready for prom. Alice does indeed dress her.

This is Bella's dress in the book, only in hyacinth blue.

Me neither, I think her movie dress is much prettier. I actually like how they have her done up for the movie and I love the sweater. It's the type of outfit I would have worn to prom had I gone to high school. Hmm, guess I have old lady taste. :)

E! news just showed a segment of Twilight and had a short interview with Rob and then asked Nikki what Rob and Kellen were like...glad I was watching it else I wouldnt have known dang it!!

What segment was it?

And also, does anybody know at what point they close big threads? We must be getting close!

Thanks for some reason I was thinking it was 3,000 posts or something like that. Of course, with the way the thread has picked up recently... (a good thing!)
