There are also a bunch of new items that will be available for purchase: A collector's edition of Twilight (mine has already been ordered), A boxed set of all the books, the official movie companions, and of course the soundtrack.

More details can be found at: www.twilightlexiconblog.com

As for the picture: Is it just me or does Esme look like a man? She is really pretty in the trailers, I think it must be the angle the pic was taken at. I was trying to figure out why Edward had long hair the first time I saw it. :rotfl:

I started reading Twilight last Monday, finished it by that Thurday night. Went on to reading New Moon and just finished that today. I have Eclipse...haven't started it yet...but I will sometime later today.

But oh my goodness. After the Harry Potter series ended, I honestly was afraid I wouldn't find another series of books that interested me. I'm picky when it comes to reading. The books have have some form of fantasy in them because I get enough of reality in my life to make even the most sane person want to explode, but at the same time they can't be so full of fakeness that I feel as if I'm watching a giant, purple chicken dance and sing right infront of me. They have to have hold some form of action/intensity in order to keep me reading as well, or I'll just get bored and go watch tv instead.

I LOVE Twilight. It's the perfect combination of fantasy, reality, and intensity. I can't wait for the movie to come out, but I'm terrified that they're going to mess it up. Whether it be from bad acting or straying from the books too much...either one would cause me to be extremely displeased. I really hope they don't mess it up...I don't want to be disappointed!

I am so glad to have found this thread. I too am a Twilight fan. My friends, sisters and daughters are all counting down the days until the movie comes out. I am often disappointed by a books adaptation to the movie screen, but there are a few exceptions (Harry Potter, Pride and Predjudice...) I hope Twilight will be another exception. It has been so fun for me (mother of young adult daughters) to enjoy a series of books with my daughters. We have enjoyed many hours discussing the books and yes, swooning, over Edward.

Since finishing the Twilight books, I have also read The Host by Stephanie Meyer. I enjoyed it too. It was really had not to compare it to Twilight though. I've also read The Hunger Games (first book in a series). I REALLY enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.

After reading (more like devouring) the Twilight series, I've been feeling kind of lost without a book to read. Has anyone else had that feeling? Do you have any books you would recommend?

CP: What were those pictures out of? It appeared to be a publication of some sort.

I know Midnight Sun is on hold for now, but am I the only one that would LOVE to read Breaking Dawn from Edward's perspective? All of the conflict with Bella/ Rosalie/Renesme, and then the hunting trip (trying not to throw out too much info for those that haven't got there).

I could skip the 2 middle ones from his point, but would love to see the internal conflict if nothing else from the last one.:lovestruc

Ah, but wishful thinking...........

(Thanks for all the pics. I think I'm getting used to Rob as Edward now, so the movie shouldn't be so painful)
