I even looked for his e mail to write my opinion to him. But I could not find it. He really just comes off as jealous. How many millions of books has he sold?

OK, I guess I have to join you all on this thread! I posted waaaaay up thread about how my 12 year old daughter was reading these books, and for the life of me I couldn't understand why adult women were reading the Twilight series.

OK, OK, I get it now!! Since that post, I've read all four books, twice, read Midnight Sun, I have my tickets for the movie AND, I waited eight hours (with my daughter) to see Robert Pattinson at Planet Hollywood in NYC on Tuesday. So, yeah, I'm totally in over my head now. We were two of the lucky 50 people who got wristbands and were able to get inside Planet Hollywood and see Rob. And yes, my ears still hurt from all the shrieking, screaming fangirls.

And, can I just say one thing about him? We all know he's gorgeous, but when you see him in person, HIS EYES, are....I'm speechless. He has the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen.

Okay, I'm thanking all of you for this thread!! I've been lurking and trying to decide whether to read the books and after reading the praise from you guys, I finally bought the first one a few days ago and now came home tonight after a trip to the bookstore with the rest of them.

Sunkat- That's sooo cool you got to see him! I'm insanely jealous! Though if I saw him, I'd probably faint and make a fool of myself!

My daughter took pictures with her cellphone and they came out horrible. We forgot our digital camera (and only realized it when we were already on the train into the city), but we bought a disposable camera when we got there. I haven't dropped off the camera yet to be developed. I'm hoping for the best.....I'm fairly tall, so I just held the camera up high and started snapping away. Keep your fingers crossed that I got some decent photos. I'll scan and post them when I get them back.

LOVED the pics!!!! Altho I would have asked him to show me his hair, and than just take 5 secs to look at me. LOL Ahhh, dare to dream......

We were thinking of seeing him in Chicago next week- lucky 500 get to get a poster signed by him. Then we called, and found out they expect 10,000 people! I cant compete with that, I would have been driving 4 hours to get there, not to even know where to park, go, or how long the line would be.

He is gorgeous.... but even my daughter Kyra would rather go see "Jacob" next weekend at the Mall of America. I doubt that one too, but its nice to know he is only 6 hours away from us...

Thanks for the pictures Sunkat. I would love to see him in person but he is not coming any where near my area.

I am so glad to hear everyone really loving Robert now as Edward!!! I remember when he was first announced to play Edward I thought he was the perfect choice - there is just something striking about him but then when I checked out the fan sites online there was a HUGE blacklash and almost everyone was hating him I am so glad that has all turned around and most fans are LOVING him now - I knew he had it in him to be the perfect Edward

I went to Borders last night and bought my copy of EW with Rob on the cover. I was also able to buy the movie companion book! My kids and DH think I am nuts and just LOL at me when I ran in the store to find the EW copy with Rob on the cover!! Oh and they were playing the Twilight soundtrack when we were in there!

SSB's EW arrived today! ... just picked up with mail after baseball games.

I have cover 1 of the 3, with both Edward/Bella on the cover. The three articles (just read through) are pretty well done... and certainly with positive spin which sounds like the VF one is not.

Hope that all are able to enjoy soon, if not already in hand!

I just had to add my 2 cents to this thread. My daughter brought home Twilight . Her friend had given her the book to read. I thought it was just a book for young girls and not for me at all, but I read the first chapter out of curiosity and now have finished all four of them!! My daughter told her friends that her Mim read the books and they all laughed because they knew they were so addicted. So yes I am hooked now too!!
