tweeze or wax??

So bored today it aint funny..

I finally had my eyebrows waxed in a way that I really like...and now have taken to tweezing the stray hairs as they grow back in...I thought it would REALLY hurt but it's actually not even as bad as the waxing..


do ya wax or tweeze or both?

Mostly wax. I'll tweeze occasionally, but I don't really have the patience for it.

wax about every 5 weeks when I get my hair cut, but unfortunately have to tweeze the strays in between appointments. Tweezing doesn't hurt nearly as bad, but I'd be tweezing for hours if I didn't get waxed!! (sorry, TMI!)

I ponied up the $$$ and got electrolysis - and now my eyebrows are done for life, just the way I like them. It's awesome.

Both. It's so hard for me to let my eyebrows grow in enough to get them waxed because I they are so thick!

I do both as well. I usually get them waxed about every other month to get a nice shaped arch, then I tweeze.

Wax. I really put off tweezing if I can avoid it because it makes me crosseyed.

I wax myself... but I do have to pull out tweezers on occasion (since I waxed the same spot too many times a few months ago and burned my face).

Just found this thread again. It took me 10 sessions, 40 minutes a session, at $40 a session - so it wound up costing $400. But I figured: if I got my eyebrows waxed once a month for the next 40 years, at $12 a wax, it was going to cost me $5760, not counting my time. So I figured - I'm going for it!!!

I am a huge fan of my eyebrows now. Previously they could best be described as "bushy." (ouch, I know, ha)

I used this same logic when I spent the money to have my bikini area lasered. I can justify just about any expense if I try hard enough.

My eyebrows are a cinch to wax (not bushy, like Dana). I could probably just use the tweezers, but I also have to dye them, so it's easier to have them waxed at the same time.

Tweezed - I've never had them waxed.

I remember the first time I had them tweezed, though -- man, did that hurt!
