So, we (Me, DH, DS 8, DD 5, and DS 18months) are traveling to Disney Nov. 4-12th. We are staying off-site so I am trying to come up with a rough schedule. I have ADRs, but as we haven't ate at any TS before I'm going to just keep the TS that fit our plans. Our kids are naturally early risers so hitting rope drop won't be a problem but late nights might be.

So since Parksavers has a good deal on tickets we have 7day park hoppers.
Here's my rough plan :

4th-Kennedy Space Center
5th-Cocoa Beach, stop and get groceries on the way to house

6th- Magic Kingdom 9a-10p (we want to see wishes)
We're going to 7DMT at RD, DH and ODS will ride and we'll get rider swap. While they're waiting me and DD will visit princesses-unless I get FP
FP:for Peter Pan, Pooh, Belle

7th-EP- 9a-9p
Rope drop Soarin'(use riser swap) and work on that side of the world
FP:TT for 2 and Soarin for 2 if I can't get FEA, Character Spot, and Spaceship Earth

8th- MK 9-3, hop to HS from 3-7
FP: Toy Story, ToT (me and DD, get rider swap), Star Tours (DH and ODS, get rider swap), Fantasmic

9th- HS (if needed) hop to Epcot at 11ish or could do Epcot all day
FP: Soarin (DD and DH and get rider swap), TT (DS and me and get rider swap), Character Swap, and Spaceship Earth

10th- MK 9-2/3 again then hop to HS
FP suggestions?

11th- AK 9a-7p
FP: Safari, EE (DH and DS), Kali(me and DD), and what 2 other things should I get?

12th- MK 9a-1p (we drive back that night so DH needs a nap in the afternoon)
FP:

How does this sound? And which FP should I add to my plan? Does it look like I'll have enough time in each park? We don't anticipate our children liking the shows, so as of now those aren't in our plan but we will add them if they express interest

I just glanced over it ( at work and really can't look too close and I am on my phone). But for most ride they have too see the too small child mostly for the big rides. Also pooh is across from 7DMT your little one can ride this while the others are in the ride.

We'll all go to the ride together and then I planned to take the two littles somewhere else. Thanks for the tip about Pooh being across from 7dmt

I think your plans look pretty good. Don't underestimate your travel times (it doesn't look like it should be a problem, just mentioning it). You have a lot of time kind of penciled in at DHS - if your kids aren't too into the shows, you could cut back on your time there I would think because there aren't a ton of rides really.

The only other thing I might throw out to consider is maybe to schedule a bit of downtime - maybe a half day off or a day to sleep in or some time at Disney Springs or mini golf. Just something to break up the park days a bit.

I think it looks great - not too crazy busy! Nice framework - just go with the flow once you're there.

Thanks! I'm going to go with the flow for sure. We originally were only planning 5 park days until I saw the parksavers deal. So, DHS wasn't even a must for us. I'm not sure how long I should realistically plan to spend therethere though. Kinds have never watched most of the shows, just Frozen so I have that pencilled in to do. And only my husband is super interested in Star Wars.

If we go to a show is it easy to leave if the kids are getting fidgety/bored? Or do you have to sit there the whole time?

And thanks for your input, I'm trying not to make it go too much. I'm hoping having mainly early nights will help that. And I would LOVE a day to sleep in. I don't know that my kids have ever sleep past 7:30/8:00.

also soaring there is living with the land that the younger kids can go on ( and there is something I think a show up stairs that they can do but I have never done it)

TT I would take your kids to the exit there are some interactive things to do and cars to get in and out of

at the AK I would do the lion king show or finding Nemo both very good show, the boat yard if fun.

on the 10 do you want FP for MK if so under the sea, buzz, pirates, jungle cruse IASW just to gove you an idea

I would also have a few rest days or late start days I know you said your kids are earlier riser but after a full day in the parks they may sleep in more. also so a nice ( not form the park) stroller can be a great place for a nape bring a very light weight blanket and a clip on fain ( even in november it can still get a little warm during the day

before you go in the show ask the CM if you can leave early if need be there are some you can not and some you can

At HS your kids might like toy story ( this can have a very long line) there are also street actors that are very fun to watch they are all over mostly on the holly wood boulevard and then just before you get to toy story and then the plaza infant of the china theater ( this is where I have seen them the most) they are really fun and often have kids help them out

if your kids like frozen I ould do the sing along. maybe your DH and DS can do the star wars while you do the frozen sing a long.

Thanks! If they decide to sleep in, I definitely won't wake them. I'll probably drop a DHS afternoon and plan on resting then or going to DS.

My original plan was:
6th-MK
7th-EP
8th- AK
9th- Rest
10th-MK
11th-EP
My husband kept asking for the Star Wars stuff, so when I looked at adding tickets/hopper it seemed more cost efficient to do the 7 day hoppers.

But, I've already told him that if the kids start complaining or whining we will go back to the house for a bit or the rest of the afternoon. I'm trying to make most of my ADRs for lunch and then we'll either have QS or a snack (when the park closes early) for dinner.

I think if you planned one full day at DHS, that would be more than enough (and according to some, too much). The shows aren't really easy to leave but they also aren't very long. You might check out Disney Jr, Frozen sing along, Beauty and the Beast. They have the Star Wars Launch Bay with character meets. There is Jedi Training academy if the kids are interested in that. There also might be Star Wars fireworks - not sure if the schedule is fully released for November yet though.

And maybe sleeping in isn't in the cards but perhaps an afternoon off to swim and relax would be nice and you can always head to a park in the evening if you want to go back. Have a great trip!

That's a great idea! My 5yo likes Frozen, the 8yo couldn't care less.

if you have to go back early could husband stay and take a taxi this way he can do a little of what he really want to do and then may be he can watch the kids some while you go do something like maybe shop at disney springs or a mail close by I know that you probably wan to stay together but it sound like you do not go to disney ( on really this is a one time trip) so it might be nice for DH to see the star wars stuff ( there really is not a lot but it is fun for someone into that)

Thanks! MK has parties every night except for the 6th and 9th of our trip, so I thought hopping to DHS right before the party guests got there would let us knock stuff out there and still have easy nights.

We haven't been since 2013, but we're tentatively scheduling a return trip for early 2018 Bedford the baby turns 3. So, not once in a lifetime, but after that trip we will probably wait until baby is 6/7 and do WDW and the dark side.

I don't mind splitting up from him, so that might would work.

So, if the only things we care about doing in DHS are:
Star Tours
Meet & Greets
Frozen sing-a-long
Toy Story
And possibly ToT
How long should I budget for the park? I would want do do it in the evening so we could possibly catch their night time show.
