Twas the Night Before ... Christmas 09?! - 12/30 New TR! Please come join me!

What a fun getaway weekend! I just love the fall. It's my favorite time of year. My kids would love the apple picking, too -- they can both eat 2 apples in a sitting.

Your boys are adorable, and I agree that they could easily be in a Lands End/LL Bean ad! It's so cool to have 2 boys and be able to dress them in matching clothes. My two are so different that only at Disney am I able to convince them to match.

You have a beautiful family!

I was thinking the exact same thing as Anita that your boys should be in catalogs! They look like they stepped off the pages of Mini-Boden! And are they wearing their boypris with long underwear underneath? :thumbsup2 They are just adorable!!
Looks like a really fun weekend that you had!
We have a lot of wineries around here (Finger Lakes in upstate NY) and this is a great time of year (as if there isn't one ;)) to visit.

Your fall weekend getaway sounds/looks magnificent! I want to go to the Graves Apple Fest and eat apple doughnuts! Yummy!

Your boys are so adorable, and I hope your littlest isn't getting sick. :goodvibes

Fun weekend! Your boys are cute! Hope the little one feels better! It seems to be going around here by us.

Exactly, that picture of the boys in their fleecies (as the E's call them) and your DH is right out of a mini-boden ad!

Adorable!

What a lovely weekend and I hope the bug passes quickly, those temp changes will get you every time!

What a pretty fall weekend! First, I'll say that your front door looks so inviting! I think you can tell a lot about a house by it's front door. Not that I would share a picture of my own. :rolleyes1 The kids disappearing into the hay bales is too cute and love their matching pumpkin fleeces. Hitting the winery-- :thumbsup2 Looks like a perfect weekend to me!! :goodvibes Happy anniversary!!

I think your family should be models in a LL Bean catalog. I suggest sending photos into the company.....
Just think of the possibilities.
Let me be your agent.

OK, your weekend just looked so fantastic! Well the hay looked a little itchy but besides that perfect!
Those boys of yours are so lucky to have parents that do such fun things with them. What wonderful memories they will have!
Those missing front teeth are just so stinkin cute!

Thank you! :goodvibes We do have a good time!

What a wonderful fall weekend! I'd love to do a trip like that. :goodvibes

We really enjoyed it! A bit cold, but fun!

I don't know how long the matching outfits will last.... I do buy stuff that I know they will wear, and they don't see to concerned about this fact yet, so I take advantage of it!

Hi! Well he isn't sick quite yet, he seemed fine the next day??
The doughnuts are very very good :cloud9:

Yeah it is floating around -- I am not thrilled with the idea of getting sick so I am trying to keep everyone healthy!

Thank you! He seems to be fine, which is odd, but I will watch him closely.

HA! Well you are nice to say so!! As I said I love fall, so it is fun to decorate. They were fun to watch plowing around in the straw! They were in heaven. They liked the corn husk maze at the Pumpkin patch down the road from our house as well, which is fun to watch! AH yes, wine is always part of a perfect weekend!!!!

I somehow stumbled across your previous PTR and 4th of July TR! They were such fun reads!! I am now moving onto this PTR and your Fall TR?! :goodvibes Looking forward to reading more about your escapades to Disney!

Looks like you guys had a nice fall weekend getaway! I love fall too - apple picking, pumpkin picking - there's awlays so much to do outside this time of year. Unless it's pouring rain like today. :headache:

Can't wait to see your ADRs!!!! :thumbsup2

Hi there!

Well I am in the final stages of Halloween costume creation, and it is a good thing, too.. since they are being previewed for class parties tomorrow!!

Well, that being said I am taking a break, I wanted to share a few photos from this weekend...

When I was in my 20s I asked my mom for Mickey Mouse Waffle maker. She bought it for me, and it has been through college, three states, four houses, and finally ended up in a cupboard here in my current home (of four years)... I think I had forgotten about it, or thought I had gotten rid of it, but this weekend, a cold wet weekend when we spent a great deal of time inside, I started to wonder where it went...
:scratchin

Well, I found it! So after a little cleaning I plugged it in, and sure enough Mickey was coming for breakfast!!!! :p

So Sunday morning we had a little fun...

here are some photos of our handi work!

My DS's were happy to cooperate, and each ate two mickeys... well DS4 ate one and an ear...

So I am of course very excited to use it some more!

Breakfast, anyone??!! :flower3:

More in the next post.... :santa:

SO of course I have had a lot of Christmas plans swirling around in my head...

One specifically that I have been thinking about are the stockings I want to get for my DS's "Christmas trip goodie bags" Which will then be hung in the villa for Santa...;) I wanted a Disney theme, OF course, but I felt a little guilty spending over $20.00 for EACH stocking... even with a discount for my Disney Visa, the least expensive one at WDW and at the Disney Store, were $21.95... I just felt this was too much... so I did a little searching, seeming to recall Disney themed Christmas decor at Target last year... So I went online, and surprise! SCORE!!! :thumbsup2

What do you think? Cute, huh? Well I like them, and think they are perfect for what I want them for, and at $9.99 each, I knew they were perfect!!

So ordered they are, and now I just have to wait for them to show up! I also bought a few foil Mickey Christmas balloons.. :p I got them when I bought the balloons from the June/July surprise reveal!!! I will of course do something with them.. related to our trip announcement, but not sure what yet! :upsidedow

Anyhow, this is my latest Christmas trip news!!!!

After all I had to do SOMETHING in honor of it being 50 days until our DISNEY CHRISTMAS

:santa: :yay: :santa: :yay: :santa:

Love the fall VA trip pics... and the finding of the waffle maker. That would be a hit here... and we could pretend we were at some yummo restaurant at WDW - right?

I just finished reading your Fall TR and this PTR too. Whew, you are busy!! Its been fun reading your adventures. Your DS' are adorable!!!

I will be curious to know if you keep 1900 Park Fare, that's where we are planning DD's birthday celebration dinner. I am hoping it will be yummy! I know that you said you are going for breakfast, I am still curious to know your reaction to it.

MNSSHP--we are planning on going to it!! I think it will be a lot of fun. DD is really into Halloween this year so providing that holds true for next year it is on our list to do.

Any tips for a newbie planner? BTW--LOVE  your binder. I use the larger size Flex Notebooks for grad school--I like them so much better than traditional binders.

I so wish I had a Mickey waffle iron.
I'll be heading off to ebay and looking for one, how cute!

I'm also heading to Target.com in search of those darling Christmas stockings....
Thanks for the great idea!
Conferences are over and I'm beat!:faint:

Oh I am sure you are tired!! So you don't get a day off school for these? We have two 1/2 days for k - 8, so the kids and parents can have conferences... The latest goes till 4pm, I think.

BUT I know it must be a lot of work...

Oh I wonder if you could get one on ebay -- I bet you could!!!! I don't remember when or if? they stopped making them, but like I said, I did get it about 15 years ago!

I thought they stockings would be cute, too.. the stockings I have here at my house are a brand called "Woof and Poof" -- they fit the decor in my house, so I didn't want another set of nice stockings! $9.99 was a perfect price!!!

 Already have a snipe in on ebay! I wonder if it's like yours, it looks like it will make the same looking waffles!
I went to Target.com and found the stockings, Mickey for the guys and Minnie for the girls. So cute!

We get tomorrow off....
Conferences were on Tuesday after school until 7:30 and then today, I started half an hour early so I worked from 7:30 to 7:30....
I really hope to sleep in tomorrow!
