Sons of Anarchy!!!!! I swear, DH will try and turn in on in bed after he thinks I'm asleep!!! I wake right up and tell him that if he wants to watch that garbage, he can watch it down stairs!!! I don't even want to HEAR that horrid show!!

I am so glad someone else feels that way. I have a friend who watches it every week (twice since it's on back to back and he always thinks he missed something the first time) and he tried to get me to watch it once. I watched it for 10 minutes and since I didn't feel like getting a lecture on my taste in TV shows (i.e. liking 90210 and ANTM but not liking Sons of Anarchy), I pretend that I watch it every week. My roommate does watch it so once in a while I catch a little bit of it.

Any police or hospital shows - none of them are much different than the police or hospital shows that have been done in the past if you ask me.

Dancing shows

Any shows with the Kardashians, Paris Hilton or rich 16-year-olds having parties

I used to like the Office, but it has just gotten to be too silly

DS7 loves to watch the re-runs of Malcolm in the Middle on Nickelodeon. I can't stand it and my stress levels go up just listening to it.

DH loved watching the new Battlestar Galactica and can't wait for Caprica to start. Me, I'm a fan of the original show and would not watch the revamped version once they changed the look of the Cylons and changed the sex of Starbuck from male to female.

ITA on Survivor and ALL reality shows! I can't stand them! People are out to make money any way they can

Since one of the criteria is that other poeple LOVE it, I'll go with

American Idol [no. 1 FOR SURE in my book]

Desperate Housewives [although I think the ratings are lower now than they once were, I never liked it]

Dancing With the Stars [not interested]

Family Guy [just TOO random, even if there are funny bits here and there, and they generally beat jokes to death and beyond for little additional comic effect]

televised sports [OK, not a show, but I do not watch any sports on TV, except perhaps a few minutes of the Superbowl]

That's so weird!! I was just thinking about this same thing. My brother in law raves about The Office. DH and I think it's really dumb and can't understand the hype.

Also, Desperate Housewives, Survivor, Seinfeld, oh and George Lopez really annoys me!

THANK YOU ALL!!!! I thought I was the only person in America who HATED Seinfeld! I wouldn't be friends with these people, I wouldn't have them in my house; why should I have them in my living room? They were all idiots and all they did was whine!

I also don't like American Idol - I grew up on a different kind of music, and can't stand all the screaching they do! I know that if I like one, it's the kiss of death - they're gone.

Don't like Dancing with the Stars; mostly, I never heard of any of the "stars"! But I have to admit that I like So You Think You Can Dance, maybe because my d is a dancer.

ETA: Also, House - it's always the same - mysterious illness, exactly 3 wrong diagnoses, last minute save. Where's the drama in that?
And Monk - mysteries are way too easy to solve, and once you get past the quirks, what's left?
I love both actors, but enough already!

It is a DEMAND in my family that that show is NEVER on if I'm in the house!! That woman who plays that Mom drives me INSANE!!

I have to admit to flipping to the Kardashians every once in a while but the thing that I don't understand about that show is that the commentary is SOO scripted and fake. I don't understand why after one episode the producers didn't see how unnatural it was and try to figure something else out.

I've never liked Cheers...it's just so depressing...those people who have nothing to do but hang on and sit on a bar stool and drink.

Also, one of the most depressing shows ever was the old Honeymooners...Alice, with no kids, being a "housewife" all day every day in that tiny grungy apartment, married to a fat idiot. Certainly closer to real NYC life than any of the other shows set in there, but depressing rather than entertaining.

It's like the never ending season finale, it's always twisting but it never really tells a story.

The Office. I was a huge fan of the British show and really hate that guy that is on the American version. Please, bring back Ricky Gervais IN the show, not just as a producer.

LOST. There is no way I'd want to watch a show for years and not know what is going on. No matter what, the end couldn't possibly be THAT good.

Any talent show. I don't like to see people's dreams crushed on national TV.

CSI, etc. I don't like drama with gore. I do enjoy Snapped, however. Real life is interesting.
