I am so clueless, do men wear cufflinks with their tuxedos? I wanted to order my fiancee some Mickey cufflinks, but I am not sure if they will be seen when he is wearing his tux. He doesn't wear suits so if he can't wear it with his tux, then they would be a waste of money. Thanks for the help.:worship:

It depends on the shirt that you get to go with it. If it has buttons around the cuffs then you don't need them.

Most tux shirts come with studs and cufflinks. But I'm ordering custom cufflinks as well. we're actually considering doing it for all the groomsmen, but we also ordered custom ties. I think as long as you're not spending $$$$ for them, it's worth getting something a little special. They won't be super obvious, but you can always point out the cufflinks to the photographer and take a couple pictures displaying the cufflinks.

If it's a tux shirt, it most likely has a french cuff which requires cufflinks. If you are renting a suit, they will probably give you cuff links but I think the idea of personalized ones is great...I got my DH personalized cuff links as his wedding day gift :goodvibes

Can you see the cufflinks in pictures? I'm interested in ordering some Mickey cufflinks as well, but I'm not sure if they would be worth buying. They are quite expensive. Do cufflinks ever get noticed really?

You can't see them unless you pull out the cuff from the jacket (or he takes off his jacket later at night which is a good possibility - my DH did!). But if you have a french cuff shirt then he'll need cuff links either way.
