 mmmm......

We have eaten there twice now on the DDP. (January and last night.)

We did not order an appy as we figured we would not need one. And again were correct on that.

The ADR was at 5 p.m. And at that time there were plenty of empty tables available.

The service was great. It was very good last time. And this time was not any lesser at all.

Just ice tea to drink.

We had a hard time deciding as everything looks good, and what we had last time was so good.

I ordered:
Bucatini Gratinati with Italian prosciutto ham, peas and parmesan cream.

DH ordered:
Costolette di Agnello - grilled lamb chops, balsamic glaze and a vegetable farroto.

Mine was SO good, I just knew it was SO bad for me! I asked the server what the sauce was. It sounds like it was mostly cream and butter (and the parmesan that gave it a nice bite).
She said it was a light cream. But she was comparing it to an Alfredo sauce.
Well, it was light when comparing to that. But it was full of fat and so good. (I drink skim milk. ) I liked it even much better than the Alfredo that Alfredo's use to serve.
The only downside was I did get a bit of inedible gristle in the ham.

DH said his dish was exceptional. However he likes the way it is prepared at the Turf Club better. But he said that would just be a matter of his personal preference.

We were given the same wonderful, fresh bread varieties as before, and the fresh veggies and dipping sauces.

For dessert, I had a WONDERFUL dessert. I did refrain from licking my plate clean. :lmao: And I will have to look up my receipt to see what it was because I don't believe it is listed on the sites I looked. It was almost like a milk chocolate mousse, but not quite. And it was sooooooo gooooood.

I will have to see what DH had too because he fell in love with his too. It has a raspberry in the center, and was like a chocolate gelato or ice cream, with some dark chocolate sprinkles all over the outside.

I purposely looked for the Family Table "Abbondanza" Dinner, as many have inquired on this in other posts. I did not see it on the menu. (But probably would not have ordered it anyway.

Will report back on the desserts once I locate the receipt.

I think Tutto's is a restaurant you just can't go wrong! :thumbsup2

do the meals come with the breads and fresh veggies and dipping sauces or is that something you ordered seperately?

thanks!

I am considering this for Augst

Both meals we have eaten there the bread and the side veggies and dippings came as part of the meal.
There must be 4 or more different types of breads -- from crusty on the outside and chewy in the middle to skinny breadsticks and crispy flat bread. All very yummy and home made tasting.
They pour olive oil in a little dish. And then the two dippings sauces -- one must be some sort of creamy cheese and herbs. The other appears to be more oil with a basmalic vinegar.

The veggies are a variety -- including fresh green beans, carrots, asparagus, etc.

Thanks for the review, I was planning on ordering what you did and now I cannot wait...just 27 more days!

I don't know about the rest of the menu, but we think the dessert portion has changed. I looked on two different sites (including the Dis) and we do not see the desserts we had last night.

According to our receipt, I had:
Panna Cotta

DH had:
Tartufo

Both were great!

From another web site:
Tartufo is an Italian ice cream dessert that usually is made of gelato. The ice cream is scooped into balls and covered with chocolate. You can make this from different flavors of ice cream and fruit.

Panna Cotta, a delightfully delicate traditional Piemontese pudding.

The dessert DH had last time someone at a table next to us was eating last night. And it looked a lot different from when DH had it. We thought maybe it was different prep chefs. But now we think they just changed their desserts from when we were there late January.

We ordered the same things you did when we were there in Feb! And we also thought everything was yummy!

Thanks for the great review. We were thinking about booking it for the first time when we do the Candlelight processional this year. You just helped me make my decision.
