Tusker House

Anyone else have any luck getting a lunch reservation at Tusker House in November? Have been trying for 3 weeks and nothing. What I mean is the time is showing -- not as unavailable. I called last week and was told the lunch times were not loaded into the system. Called today and the cm (no offense) was clueless. Her response was "no I don't see any reservations made for anyone during that entire week, but it must mean other people have booked reservations." Would'nt they see other reservations booked for that restaurant?

Tusker House lunches are unavailable beginning October 30. No booking is possible online or at the WDW-DINE line or anywhere else I've tried.

CMs have speculated that perhaps Disney is considering whether to continue the Tusker House/Nemo Stage Show dining arrangement and therefore haven't released the lunch hours. But who knows? They could be considering whether to close Tusker during lunch for all we know.

The good thing is that no one else is able to book up our dates/times. Just keep checking back...and please post if you're able to get a lunch reservation for Tusker House in November! I'll do the same.

This is good to know.
I just tried booking Tusker House lunch for the week of Nov 5-12 and everyday it says no availability.

I was beginning to wonder why I could get LeCellier, 'Ohana, and Sci-Fi but not Tusker House!

I'll keep trying!

Yikes... My ADR day is June 7... I hope they have this fixed by then... we really want to do lunch at Tusker House... but dinner will be ok too.

I am happy to find this thread....I have not been on the boards much lately and I had tried for 3 days to get a lunch reservation at Tuskers to no avail for any day during our 2 week trip so I knew something was up. Plenty of availability at breakfast and even dinner but no lunch. Guess we will just have to wait and see what happens

We are in the same boat, we tried to get a lunch ADR at Tusker House and you can't get one past Oct 8th. (You can still get breakfast though). I don't get it, Tusker House is our favorite lunch spot and its always busy. I can't see them canning lunch there in favor of Yuk and Yeti. :-(.

Take this for what it is worth because we all know how information from dining CMs can be... When I asked about booking it while I was on the phone about some other ADR issues, I was told that lunch may be discontinued altogether. I really hope that's not the case; I would think if they were to discontinue a meal there it would make more sense to do away with dinner because with the early park closing it is so easy to make dinner plans elsewhere.

I've been trying to book Tusker House for 5 breakfast the last week of Sept for a month now and nothing.

I logged on the wee hours of the morning on my 180+10 day and try back several times every freaking single day

Interesting. . . I was able to book a 4:00 ADR on Oct 15; want a lunch ADR.

3 weeks straight and still nothing. I've tried online several times a day, as well as calling and still no lunch adr's in the system. Still getting mixed answers from cm's. "ADR's not loaded yet", "Possible closure for lunch", "all lunch reservations are booked for all party sizes from the end of September into November", etc. This is my last adr to get and am getting really frustrated.

We're in the same boat. And don't listen to the CMs. You know as well as I that they know less than we do. Either the powers that be are reconsidering Tusker House for lunch altogether, or they are simply shuttering the place for most of October and November, possibly due to the slower season -- although that's rarely been the case. You can tell what kind of contract they have with Landry's, which manages Yak & Yeti, and how that remains open for lunch, but Disney is considering closing its own Tusker House for the same dining period. Go figure.

As was stated earlier, if no one can reserve then you will be the first to do so if/when they finally open up. If they never re-open, then you get to try someplace else. We would rather do Tusker House, but we'll do Flame Tree BBQ if we have to. Haven't been there in a while.
