I went to make reservations for Donad's Safari Breakfast and I can't make reservations for the day I wanted to AT ALL! Sunday March 6. What are the chances of something opening up between now and then? I will keep my fingers crossed.

Is this a sign the park will be suuuupperr busy that day?? Hmm....


**UPDATE** I wanted to share with everybody that I have been trying and trying every day still to get the ressie for that day and today some pixie dust was sent my way. I checked and got one for 9:45 on the day that I wanted!! YAY I just wanted to share with everybody to give you all some hope if you are still trying to get last minute ressies.

No it isn't an indication of how busy the park will be.

Tusker House is the most popular breakfast buffet on WDW property. It has very good food and is the "hot character" interaction place as well. (it is the only spot to see Daisy I believe).

As for getting a ressie, the only thing you can do is keep trying. Also check the March cancellation thread, see if someone is going to cancel their adr.
The only other thing you can do is be flexible if you really want to eat there. If you have only 1 day you can eat there it lessens the chance you will get the ressie.

I'm sorry you're having a hard time getting an ADR at TH. But as PP said, try calling. I've heard that sometimes an opening will be available via calling when it's not via on-line reservations. It's worth a shot.
FWIW - we enjoy TH Bkfst. (Really don't care for all that rigamarole you have to go thru before you get in tho - like getting pics taken, etc. Feels like a "Cattle Call" to me and like alot of fuss! Pic's are nice tho and food is really good.) Kids love the character interaction!

TH is the only TS breakfast and the only character meal in the Animal Kingdom, and on this "short" notice it is usually booked regardless of crowd levels. I'd keep watching this week, though, as the package payment deadline comes up. We've had good luck picking up cancelled dining reservations around 40-50 days out, probably because that's when people who booked "hopeful" trips cancel reservations that they won't be able to use.

This is a great restaurant! I am of the vegetation and the house Fang is the best place I've been on Disney property food.I that does not recommend this restaurant to others because there are many others out there character meal with the same price that have better service and put in place better than this personal one.All here seem to be very friendly and had a wide range of dining options, that was very good quality.

How many people do you have? Just out of curiosity, I tried today for a party of (3) and (4) and there's a 8:10am ADR available ~ hope you're near a computer right now

Besides calling, try checking online as many times a day as you are willing. It only takes a minute so it's much faster than calling multiple times a day.

Also it helps if you are willing to be flexible about the time and/or day.

Tusker House Breakfast is very popular so that does not necessarily mean it will be busy in AK that day.

I went in Dec, and when I was making my reservations, there was nothing available for Tusker House for me either. But you gotta keep checking the website, be flexible with your time (I know the Safari is only there for b-fast) and also, check to see if there is a March 2011 Cancelled ADR thread.

I lucked out and got one for march back in early Dec!! You might also try checking the website later at night. See i work nites 7p-7a and would often check after midnight. Maybe thats when they update the reservation times/dates. Also if you can be flexible on the date/time that might help some. Good luck
