Tusker House - Late Breakfast Ressie

We are in the midst of planning for our Jan 2012 trip (woo hoo!) and I have a late breakfast ressie at Tusker House for 10:30 AM.

I was wondering how it would work since lunch starts at 11:00 AM and there is no way that me and my family will finish eating in 30 minutes (assuming we are even seated on time).

Do they ask you to leave? Or do you get to enjoy foods from the lunch buffet?

I would just like to know so that we can be prepared or change my ressie if needed.

I've never personally experienced a situation like yours but I've heard a few different things. First off, you will definitely NOT be asked to leave. I've heard that you may get the best in that you can eat breakfast and lunch. I've also heard that the staff will continue to serve you breakfast. I think the first makes more sense but I'm sure you'll get to enjoy either scenario!!!

We had a 10:20 ADR our last time to Tusker House.

We were not asked to leave, we were not rushed. In fact, the restaurant was still packed.

We had breakfast items on the buffet, even for those in our party who went for a second plate.

what happens if your seated late? my kids would much rather have the breakfast than lunch.

We ate at Tusker House a few years ago as walk-up customers and were seating when lunch first started. They made sure we understood there were no characters at lunch (although that is changing...yea!) and it would be a few min. We were seated just a few min after 11am and the restraunt was still quite busy w/ breakfast customers. When we got to the buffet, there were still some pastries and such out as well as some other bkfst items. So, I think you will be ok and not need to feel rushed

We will be in the same boat.

We like late breakfasts after doing AM EMH at AK.
So maybe we will do a 10:15 am ADR - yes we like breakfast better than lunch items.
We could still tour the park till 9:45 am and then walk over to Tusker House for breakast. Maybe after breakfast there will be a noon show of the Festival of the Lion King.
We would love to end our AK morning with the Lion King show or maybe we will FP Kali River Rapids and do that after breakfast as our last ride.
