I know that Tusker House has regular all-American breakfast foods, but what are their specialty type things? I'm very excited about this breakfast, not only for the characters for my children, but also hopefully for some unique menu items. :goodvibes

allears has the entire menu. I believe it's the best online source for menus at WDW restaurants.

There aren't really any unique food items. They have a quiche pizza type of thing, but that's about it as far as food goes. They have a jungle juice or something along those lines that is pretty good, but VERY sweet. It's unique to this breakfast though...

I liked the porridge (mealie pap) that was similar to cheese grits and the yams.
My kids favorites were the Krispy Kreme donuts with chocolate frosting and colored sprinkles. So exotic.

That made me LOL.

I like the porridge as well and also a breakfast version of the Boboti (quiche) they serve at Boma for dinner!

:lmao: Haha... Thanks for the giggle!

I'm sad to see that there really isn't too much to look forward to. Hmm... maybe we should find a different, more exotic, place to have breakfast.

Meali pap, bobotie, frunch
then a few things that I don't normally have for breakfast like carved honey ham, bread pudding, yam casserole.

Not sure where in Disneyworld you will find a more exotic breakfast? (Maybe Boma, but that seems out of the way and no characters)

Tusker House is my favorite place to have breakfast in the World. I loved the veggie quiche. There is such a great variety. I don't think you need to cancel. Give it a chance, yum yum!!! :thumbsup2

Have you been to Boma? If you like Boma, you would probably like Tusker House. They're very similar in my opinion. I wouldn't necessarily pass it up in the hopes of finding something more exotic. First of all, there's not too much out there that's exotic for breakfast. Even Boma isn't what I would call over the top. The only thing I can think of that's a bit different is maybe Kouzzina.

IMO Tusker House is one of the better character breakfasts. The food is good and the carved meats are a highlight!

You may want to try their corned beef hash. I didn't like it but I eat pretty plain. It had unusual spices that weren't to my taste. The bobotie is tasty. I always get a small portion even though it's out of my comfort zone.
And last, but certainly not least, it's the only place on property to dine with Miss Daisy.:lovestruc
