Turning 30...why is this hard???

30 wasn't hard for me-I had other things on my mind--my son was born exactly 3 weeks before my 30th birthday..and then 6 days after he was born 9/11 happened, so between worrying about that and dealing with a newborn and a not quite 2 year old, turning 30 was the last thing on my mind. LOL

Though truthfully it didn't bother me when I thought about it as I hit my late twenties. I was exactly where I wanted to be at 30-great husband, 2 wonderful kids, a nice home, etc.

Now 40--I am dreading it already and I still have 6 plus years to go.

I'll be turning 30 next year and I've been saying I'm 30 already for about a year. I welcome it!

I just turned 35 on Tuesday...and I was bragging about it being my birthday. Of course, people always tell me that I look like I'm in my 20's.

Honestly though, turning 30 wasn't a big deal to me. I actually enjoyed it and all the best things in my life started happening after I turned 30, so that made it even better. I look at it as I'm only getting better and I've still got so much of my life ahead of me.

I hope that you'll soon embrace the fact that you've reached this milestone and that you've still got so many more to come.
