Turn the Bus Around and Take Us Back to Disney! *COMPLETED*

I hope our morning at HS starts as well as yours! Those meet and greets are on our must do list too! I love how, in the group photo with buzz and woody, you and Olivia are standing exactly same. Cute!

You know, I've read on several other TRs about missing PP pictures. What's the deal with that? I'd be so bummed!

Your day sounds fantastic!!

I love the magic from your M&G with Woody and Buzz - so perfect!

I just can't believe how much you were able to get done so quickly.

I can't remember - did you have FP+ for TSM? YOu must have.

Olivia is just adorable in all of her poses and her picture of you is fabulous! I just love it.

Hmmm... Another must do = what could it be?

D~

Olivia is just so darn cute. and the poses she is a natural. Love the one of her riding the ant so cute and those t-shirts were very creative, I would have never thought of that. I tend to make them all matchy matchy love the theme thing!

I haven't had issues like that with PP, but I did have two discs in my case that I didn't notice. So I thought tons of pictures were missing when they actually weren't. Haha. So stupid of me. I think it likely happens because they don't scan your card correctly.

I have a theory that they raise the wait time to TSM early in the morning to deter people from getting in line that early. :rotfl:

How awesome that Woody led Olivia into the M&G! I would have been emotional too.

Wow, you got a lot of M&G's in that day! Very impressed! We always make the fatal error of not doing them early enough. So silly.

Oh my gosh, she got to walk with Woody??!! What a great M&G....those are the memories that will last a lifetime!

Lucky you got into the playground...they had it closed the 2 times we tried to do it. Bradey was crushed because it is one of his favorite things from our last trip.

I just can't get over how cute your whole family is....you guys are just adorable :)

Great update. Your Buzz and Woody map sounds amazing. How cool for Olivia (and all the big kids too). Bummer about the fastpass pictures not being in your account. Yiu have had a very eventful day and you've only been at the parks for 90 minutes!

Hmmm, I am wondering which hat????? Can't wait to read more.

Haha! Meeting Buzz and Woody was fun for us big kids too! And we did accomplish so much so early! Hence the title of that post, lol!! I wasn't lying!

Hehee, you should find our which hat tomorrow! ;)

It can start that well, characters first! And while I was in line for TS meet n greet we could have easily pulled FP for TSM and Olivia could have rode once with dad while I waited honestly...we just didn't have a need to do that right away!

Yea I'm noticing the issue with the PP is
Common...bummer :(

Thanks!

We didn't have FP+ we had 2 members of our group with guest assistance cards so we got to use FP entry every ride- extremely lucky but also missed out on all the fun ride queues...

Ill give ya a hint- it was from Chris' must do list so it's a boy thing! (IMHO)

Bahaha, she is trained well for taking photos!! ALL her pics are like that! Cracks me up, I swear she'll be a model one day!

Thanks, those were my fave hurts and EVERYBODY asked about them, I think I'll do something similar next time for other movie bc those were also my fave to make- so easy!!

I did notice I had 2 discs, but boo :( apparently it is common for some PP pis to get "lost"...sadly not much you can do about it either...

I loved that moment with Woody- my fave!

Yea those M&Gs just worked out- it was like 10:30 and we already ha met 10 characters! Woo!!

Yes!!! I had no words! It was a beautiful moment, so special!

I didn't realize they closed the playground, but I guess it reaches capacity...bummer...it was cool, glad we were there early!

And thanks!

How fun and special - especially with Woody taking your daughter's hand. Great pictures. I agree that the silhouette t-shirts are the easiest (again thank you for letting me steal your ideas.)

Don't you just love those little magic moments at Disney! That picture was so sweet! Your HS morning was a dream! Way to go with your planning!:thumbsup2

Oh - that's right! I'd forgotten about that.

Hmmm... Was it Lights Motors Action? Or it could be Indiana Jones? Or Star Tours? Or none of the above... LOL

D~

Enjoying your TR! Congrats on it being your 1st Disney trip as well! :thumbsup2 Glad I found your TR since your girls are the same age my two girls will be when I'm planning for our first official family (mom/dad/girls) Disney trip. My DH isn't a Disney fan so he's refusing to go with us until our oldest can ride the faster rides. Silly goose. :upsidedow

So thankful yall didn't lose your video camera! Leaving the camera hanging on the back of a chair happened to me as well a couple trips ago. We were eating at Cosmic Ray's right before the MNSSHP was starting and I didn't realize I had forgotten it until we were about to meet the princesses. Talk about high anxiety! We rushed back to Comic Rays and a CM that we had talked to had found my camera and got it for me.

The pics around TLM section were so cute! Can't wait to see more of your TR!

Two things the hubby really wanted to do in this park were

#1- The Indiana Jones Stunt Show Spectacular

#2- Lights, Motor, Action Stunt Show

Well, after our very eventful morning we decided to take some time for a show, and so we headed off to the 11am showing of Indie!!!!!

The hubby brought his authentic hat from home just for the occasion, "The Hat..."-

This show was so cool. I didn’t know that it would be set up like they were filming, but it was still so neat. The stunts and effects had us all on the edge of our seats, and the banter was very funny and entertaining. Again, not really any pics, because well I was just enjoying myself! Just this one we snapped of the kiddos watching with Mimi and PawPaw, as you can see Maddie enjoyed lap hopping during some shows, so she ends up in lots of pictures!

After our time with Indie we went over and checked out his gift shop, but there were no must have items so we made our way back to our stroller. I don’t know why I didn’t get a picture, but I thought I’d mention a small piece of Disney fun we happened upon right in front of the entry to the Indie show. You can easily see of to the left of the entry a set up with a well and a rope sticking out from up, the sign dutifully states not to pull said rope (or maybe it said to pull it, I don’t recall), so, of course, we had to pull it! Teehee, a little fun moment came after that, but I will let you all discover it yourself if you haven’t already!

Anyway, since we noticed we were in the area we decided to head over to Star Tours!

Once again, another cutting-edge, super fun ride! This was Chris’ fave Disney ride! We got the pod racing scene, which happens to be my least favorite scene in all six movies (yes I love Star Wars) and it also seems to be the most grumbled about scene on the Dis as well, but it was still fun! This was another ride that Liv’s magic shoes worked on, and she had a BLAST!!!

When we were done we came out to switch off and let the other half of our group go and Olivia wanted to go again, but sadly the CM had changed and the one there now didn’t let her pass!! It was awful, Liv wouldn’t stand straight and the person just flat out said no. Gah, so the rest of the group went on, Chris included because he loved it so much, and I was left with Margo, Maddie and my now crying Olivia. :worried:

Well, what better way to ease a crying child than a little retail therapy, right?

So I ushered us into the Tatooine Traders shop and decided to let Olivia have some fun and do the build your own light saber!

It did the trick, of course, and she was smiling again in no time!! While we were there browsing, Olivia also got the chance to do some more pin trading, she was becoming a pro now, and she even traded for a Star Wars pin for her daddy! (awww)

Once the group came out they told us that Bob was the person put up on screen during the ride!!!! Sadly, Bob didn’t even notice, which was hilarious, because that was just a classic Bob moment in mine and Chris’ eyes. But they all had fun and Chris said that the story they got this time was much cooler!

It was about half an hour from our lunch ADR so we didn’t want to stray too far, so we decided to have a go on The Great Movie Ride! Maddie had fallen asleep though, so we decided to split up and do 2 groups again.

I snapped this pic walking over to TGMR…sadly, we never got a PP pic in front of the hat!! We just were never in the right place at the right time and couldn’t find a PP photographer! Big regrets..sigh…

TGMR ended up being a close call for us! The line, even though we got ushered to the front, took longer than normal because of the time lapse between cars. Then the ride itself is quite long. It was fun, we got the gangster scene and Olivia was a little scared until we assured her it was just acting, and then she got a little scared again at the Alien scene, but she perked right up for the Wizard of Oz.

Had to take a pic of some cowboys representing!

After the ride it was about 5 minutes until our ADR and it was raining now! We found our posse and explained that we didn’t realize it’d take so long and they’d have to ride later because for now we were off to a highly anticipated lunch! :dance3:

Up next, The One With the TV!

Another AWESOME update!!!!
So sad she didn't get to ride again. some of the CM's do get a little grouchy..

I was picked to the Indie show last time we were there.. great times my daughter freaked out about it, thought i would get hurt! LOL

So you didn't leave much of a hint to where you were eating.. Since both Scifi and 50's has 'tv' once is just much much bigger then the other... :confused3

We were soooo excited for our lunch today, because we had reservations at 50s Prime Time Café!! :cool1:

It was raining like crazy so we tried to carefully dash over to the restaurant and had to pull out the rain cover for the stroller for the first time. Once inside, we checked in for our first ADR and had no issues. We found a little spot in the living room to wait for our family to call us back to eat!

While waiting a bunch of special plumbers or at least I think they were supposed to be plumbers came in and were entertaining the people waiting. I found it especially hilarious that when I turned to check on Olivia I found her planted in front of the tv!

Just goes to show that no matter what era, kids will be kids, and they love their tv!! :happytv:

I really did love the waiting area, it completely looked like my grandmothers house!

Soon enough we were called back and introduced to our Cousin Tim! Tim was laid back and borderline rude, but pretty funny and kept up the theme well. He was great in letting us know our options of having shakes instead of drinks on the DDP!

So, of course, we all had to order shakes! I mean why wouldnt you get a $10 shake instead of a $3 drink when your on the DDP, it would go against my bargaining brain not to do so!

Chriss meal- Moms Sampler, consisting of fried chicken, meatloaf, and pot roast with all accompanying sides, a vanilla shake, and Dads Brownie Sundae for dessert. All was amazing, especially the fried chicken and the sundae! Look at all that crap on there for goodness sake! Crazy! The food was sooo good, like I cant even convey, and the portion all rather large.

I had the post roast with mashed potatoes, though I regretted not getting the sampler when I caught a whiff of the fried chicken, but this pot roast was awesome. Seriously great. No complaints, except that I wanted more! Yumm! I was totally a member of the clean plate club after that meal, as you will see! I got a chocolate shake, so thick and lovely. And my dessert was the smores! Yum, but not real hot when they brought it out, like it had sat for a bit.

Olivia opted for a classic kids fave, chicken nuggets with mashed potatoes, all yummy. She got sweet tea and split my shake, and she had the build your own sundae for dessert!

Our meal total came to about $100 for the three of us! Totaling up all the money we would have spent, it became clear we definitely saved doing the DDP, so happy with our choice, and I will ALWAYS do it! It was just so stress free I cant even tell ya&

Also awesome, was the cute viewfinder that is the dessert menu!

Once the bellies were full to the max (and then some) I decided I wanted to my #1 must-do, The Disney Junior Live show! Olivia and Maddie spend every single morning watching Disney Junior during the week and they love the songs (me too), the characters, and everything about it so I knew this was one thing that they would both enjoy supremely, boy was I right!!

Margo, Bob and Laci went off to do the great movie ride, and Chris and I took the girls and went to the show. It was AWESOME!!!!!!!

I LOVE how they put this show on, the sitting on the floor is perfect because both Liv and Mad had so much fun dancing around and clapping. They effects with the bubbles, snow, and gold doubloons was so cool, and they loved it. And, of course, it was all about the music in there. We got to see all their faves and sing along to every theme song we love and it was just the most perfect thing. I would have done it twice if time permitted, but I will for sure do it every time while they are little! Total must-do with the littles!! ::yes::

Anyway, after the best show ever, we saw that Sofia was doing a M&G, and I didnt even know that Sofia was in the parks yet so we HAD TO hop in line!! Sofia is Olivias new fave, by new I mean besides the classic princesses. She wanted so badly to do her BBB makeover as Sofia, but the parks are not quite on the ball yet and they have no Sofia thing available yet. Though I was told SOON, veryyyyyy SOON!

So we waited about ten minutes in line and tried to just keep ourselves entertained&

And soon we were meeting Sofia! What a magical moment for Liv. Chris was holding Maddie so sadly I think this is one of the few M&Gs we didnt film! Bummer because Olivia was too freakin cute with her! She was doing all her hand movements like a princess, and bowing and everything, seriously, adorable. Anyway, we got her autograph and photo and Olivia was on a total Disney high!

Somewhere in the madness of this morning we took a restroom break, and I just have to post this one pic in here, because I think its so cool that at a lot of locations Disney even goes the extra mile by providing smaller sinks that the kiddos can actually reach! I LOVE this! Thank you Disney, its these little touches that make life easier for me! :thumbsup2

Next we made our way to meet up with the rest of the fam at our next must-do, Lights Motor Action!

Talk about cool. I couldnt even believe that shot I caught, so neat! The show had several bugs unfortunately, like they didnt do some jumps for some technical reason, and Lightening McQueen had an issue and never got to come out&but it was still pretty cool. One downside- the smell of burnt rubber, ick! Now I know shy they change tires for every single show! I dont know if I would do this every time, but definitely worth seeing!

Finally, after all the shows and sitting we had been doing we were ready to get down to business, and that meant RIDES!!! There was a whole section of the park we had yet to see, and the monument of that section was looming overhead, just beckoning us to it&

Next up, The One With the Creepy Bellhop!

Another AWESOME update!!!!
