Turn Around and See What Happens -- It's Whoopi Time and that's a wrap 3/31; F&G add

I have not done the movie in france in a long time! I forgot how nice that theater is.

It really is a beautiful theater.

I have never been to Garden Grill. It has always seemed like something I would not enjoy. Your review kinda confirms that.

Nope; not a place I would recommend.

Caught back up again. Your afternoon at Epcot looks so enjoyable. Your fist pumping photo (well Mark's fist pump) cracked me up. The guy sitting behind Mark is too funny.
Loved your photopass pix with Pluto. Such a fun dog to hang out with!! :thumbsup2

It really was an enjoyable afternoon. I'm not sure where that fist pump came from with my husband. I love Pluto...always one of my favorites.

Your bag is very nice!! DM could outdo Vera any time!!! (at least for us Disney fans) And I agree with another poster that said Mark will just have to "hold onto it" for you for "some" reason! ;)

I agree with you; I like Vera, but D's work is outstanding. Yes, I promise to let Mark "hold" it for a moment or two.

Was glad to read your review of Garden Grill. I have often thought of having a meal there for the characters. But I think I will stick to Sunshine Seasons and visit with Chip and Dale elsewhere.

I'm not a fan of Sunshine for lunch, but I do enjoy it for breakfast.

I think the character interaction at Garden Grill is really good. And the girls look like they are having a blast.

They really had a good time.

So did'nt you guys like the food? I enjoyed the food there, but I hate the seating. Everything just feels so tight and small. You can tell this was a restaurant that was designed when people didn't need as much room to spread out. But the whole rotation thing is too cute to change.

I wasn't a fan of the food; it was just okay (kind of reminded me of the food at Hollywood & Vine for dinner). It is hard to move at those tables and with all the food they bring, the table gets very crowded.

The characters look adorable!! but, that's too bad about the food...it always looks yummy in pictures!

It's wasn't horrible, just not very good. Too many other places where the food is much better. We loved the characters.

Hello!!! I am CAUGHT UP!!!
After yet another CRAZY weekend. (because of Lex and his accident)
I have finally caught up!!!

I'm glad to know you are feeling better, and I'm happy Lex is doing better too.

Aurora was PRETTY!!! the look on Cayley's face is just priceless.. How sweet.

This Aurora was one of the prettier ones I have seen; and Cayley is priceless...as is her face in the photos.

Both Girls look so adorable. as usual. They are really beautiful. i agree with everyone else. their outfits are really cute too!!!

I agree with you.

Will be riding the new TT this coming trip. I am excited. The boys will Love making their car. How long does the whole thing take?!?

Oh, I am sure your boys are going to absolutely LOVE building their own car. I'm thinking maybe 10 minutes max? I really never timed it.

The picture with either dale or Chip (can't remember) holding the girls heads was funny!!! Looks like a GREAT interaction! always wanted to try this.. But like you haven't read a good review on the food there!!! :confused3

That would be Dale (Chip has the "chocolate chip" nose).

Slushie TIME!!!

Yes, that is coming up.

The Garden Grill is one restaurant that isn't even on my radar. The food never interested me and I love so many other places in EPCOT.

I am glad we went just to see the girls with the characters, but I have no desire to go back.

Taking a picture of a curtain isn't that odd. I once took a picture of my foot because I liked my sock.

And a lot of us take pictures of our feet on the People Mover. So I guess it isn't all that strange after all. :rotfl2:

The photopass seems to have changed. It's now part of the Magical Experience. You can still pre-order but you don't get the CD. Everything is a digital download. I ordered the CD and couldn't get it. I had to do the download. I have been having trouble with mine. It comes as a ZIP file which I finally got unzipped. Now Flickr doesn't read anything but the authorization so I can print pics. Photobucket lets me upload them but then I can't get the link to work. Not a fan of all these changes at all.

I'm thinking I'm not going to like this at all. I'm not getting one for our trip in two weeks. I'll have to talk to Mary about the girls trip in May/June.

That Dale was a character, literally! :lmao: It looks like fun character interactions at Garden Grill. I've been hesitant to book since I'm not a fish fan and everything else just looks ok, nothing spectacular. Maybe it is a do it once type of place and mark it off the list??

Trust me, do not book it. I do not think you would like it at all considering the other restaurants you eat at.

Can those girls get any cuter? The berets may have done that! ::yes::

I hope not...the boys might start coming around sooner. Yes, they are cute!

That was actually a very nice photo of the theater, the curtain just happened to be there too. Seriously though it is a pretty theater.

Hey, I like that. I was trying to take the theater and the curtain got in my way.

Loved the Garden Grill pictures... We've had some of the best experiences there. It's on our list for the next trip, I don't think that any of us will want to miss it again. I will admit though, the food on our 2008 trip was better than the food we had on our 2012 trip, not sure if they changed their menu? It seemed to me like they may have?

D, we loved the characters (the interaction was as good as Cape May). Mark and I just found the food "eh" and not worth a repeat trip for us.

Looks like a great day!

D~

It was a great morning/afternoon with more fun to come.

Oh, come on now... I'm basing this on the fact that our opinions are typically polar opposite. You like Starbucks, I don't. I like Wilderness Lodge, you don't. Goes to reason, if you don't like Garden Grill, I probably will. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

Well, you have a point there. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

So after our late lunch/early dinner, we headed inside Innoventions so the girls could do:

We spent a little time here and there was no one around so the girls decided to show us their gymnastic action on the big carpet (I dont' recall if it was raining and that's why we hung out or what).

Soon we headed back to World Showcase, and the first stop was

And what has now become a tradition since we met Mary and the girls...do you want to buy a Sombrero? How could you not with those cute models?

We then took a ride on the Mexican version of It's a Slow Boat to China:

We started walking again and passed Norway (the wait for the ride was way too long so we skipped it):

Next up was China:

Then we stopped in Germany where the gang (well, all except me) decided they needed something from the caramel shop:

While everyone sat on the bench nibbling, I got this picture:

Okay, I have to stop here; I didn't realize how late it was and I have to close up shop and head for the train.

Up next, the girls pick a pearl and I get my Slush.

Great update I'm still devastated we never got to the Caramel shop in Germany when we were there last time :(

I love the caramel shop, especially the chocolate one with the salt on it.

The picture of the sombreros was so cute, also loved Marc in the coolie hat!

The movie in France was one of the last ones I got around to seeing, but on one of my recent trips I finally made it and I really enjoyed it!

I agree with you about Garden Grill.....the food is just so-so, but the character interaction is some of the best! :thumbsup2

I love all of the Sombrero pictures, and the girls certainly make it tough to resist getting one!

I actually liked the food at GG !! The Character interaction was GREAT!!Loved the Berats in France !! Reminds me of school days in England , they were part of our uniform !!As it was the era of Boufont hair dos , we were very creative in how we wore them:rotfl2: You just can't go to Mexico without trying on a sombrero!! Great pix and updates Kathy!!!

Looks like a fun afternoon. I love the sombrero pics. :thumbsup2

Thanks, Ann. We had so much fun.

Great update I'm still devastated we never got to the Caramel shop in Germany when we were there last time :(

Maybe they will have one in Disneyland? I'm not sure since I've never been there. Personally, the only time I eat caramel is on apples at Halloween.

Tell Mark, I love it!! Wine and caramel!!:thumbsup2

I will tell him. He started on a wine kick last year...have no idea where it came from as he has never been a wine drinker.

I love the caramel shop, especially the chocolate one with the salt on it.

I think Mark had that one in August and he gave it two :thumbsup2

The picture of the sombreros was so cute, also loved Marc in the coolie hat!

Thank you, Doris.

I love the sombrero pics. Looks like a fun evening!

Thanks. I looked at the past sombrero pictures and can't believe how the girls have grown since we first met them.

The movie in France was one of the last ones I got around to seeing, but on one of my recent trips I finally made it and I really enjoyed it!

It's a beautifully done movie (although it could use a little update).

I agree with you about Garden Grill.....the food is just so-so, but the character interaction is some of the best! :thumbsup2

And who doesn't love Chip and Dale?

I love all of the Sombrero pictures, and the girls certainly make it tough to resist getting one!

They most certainly do.

I'm glad you liked it Rosie; it just wasn't for us. Best character interaction next to Cape May breakfast we've had. You wore berets in England? I remember the boufont hair do.

You got the best Christmas pictures! Really captured the spirit of the season. That little area near Norway is so cute.

The girls look so adorable in their sombreros. It would have been hard to resist buying them. But my favorite is definitely Mark's hat in China. Yup - that's a classic. :rotfl2:

Looks like a fun time with the girls. princess: princess:

I used the Great Piggy Bank Adventure at the end of one year to review all of the Math skills we learned. The kids went from station to station doing tasks and collecting money for completing them, and then they bought goodies (odds & ends contributed by teachers) with their money. It was a fun event for them, and I was able to sneak a tiny bit of Disney into my school day. ;)

I love the games in the Innoventions buildings, they're so fun.
Beautiful Christmas photos, especially in Norway! Charming :goodvibes
Love the sombrero pics!!

WOW! the sombrero is going to swallow her whole!!!

The best picture is Mark int he China hat... :lmao:

Fun times in the World Showcase!! :thumbsup2

Loved the photos of the girls and Mark in their Sombreros. But the one of Mark in China is classic! ::yes::

I love the Mexico pavilion. I could spend hours in there looking around at all the stuff. Wish I could afford to bring home some of the little animals.

The Great Piggy Bank Adventure is a cute way to spend some time.

Mmmmmmm. the Karamel Kuche!! Love the homemade turtles. And the dark chocolate with caramel. :cloud9:

That bag is simply adorable!!!!!!!!! How very very fun. I hadn't heard of her bags and now want to check them out too.

What a fun ride on TT and the weather looks just perfect. I love the girls outfits today too and very glad you were able help Avery over her momentary shyness to go see Aurora.

Garden Grill has never interested me but I'm glad the characters were good, that's something and as always, the sombrero pics are adorable.

That said, those French berets are tres chic on both girls!

Whew, only 3 updates behind.

I think.

Caught up for now. Until I'm not again!

The sombrero pictures are adorable and, like you said, it must be a hard decision on whether or not to buy them when the girls look so cute in them.

The picture of mark in the hat in China had me giggling like crazy for some reason.

Oh goodness, I would love to have something from the caramel shop right now. My mouth is watering.

I just love looking at all the Christmas decorations! It makes me want to move my trip.

The girls are just too beautiful and they look like they were having a blast. The pic of Mark in China made me laugh out loud here at work!

I'm back! We had a wonderful and interesting trip last week, I'm hoping to get the TR started by the end of this week.

I'm glad you were busy and didn't update too much because I didn't get too far behind. :rotfl:

First of all I love your new Dumbo bag! D~ creations are wonderful and you will have a blast carrying it in the parks. ::yes::

The "extra guy" on your TT picture cracked me up! He was either terrified or hamming it up for the camera. I haven't quite figured out where the camera was moved to on that ride. I know it's outside now but I'm not exactly sure where.

Cute pictures with Aurora!

I love that new meet and greet area for Pluto in Epcot, the background mural is just so pretty. I need to get my picture with him there sometime. I was so busy taking care of family last week that I never got a chance to meet with Pluto. :sad1:

I'm hoping the Garden Grill dinner was just an off night because I have it booked for May. Of course just seeing my Pluto will be worth it even if the food isn't that good.

I really need to spend some time one of these trips in Innovations. I've only gone in there a few times for the Visa meet and greet.
