Turn Around and See What Happens -- It's Whoopi Time and that's a wrap 3/31; F&G add

So Mark and I got up so that we could get ready and head over to the Studios where we would be meeting Mary and the girls on this, our last day, with them as they were flying home the next day.

We didn't have a breakfast ADR this morning and were a bit hungry when we got up. Mark thought we'd get something healthy at the park. And I looked at him as if to say, "are you nuts?" "Why would we do healthy when we have a perfectly good bakery right down the boardwalk?" So, of course, my logic won out ad we headed to the Boardwalk Bakery.

A friend waiting outside to see if anyone would share:

The line was out the door this morning but it moved very quickly. And what did we end up with?

Was it one of these?

Or one of these?

Nope, we didn't. Mark ended up with this:

And I had one of these:

The croissant was very, very good. Flakey and fresh and soft. I loved it.

We ended up being more on the healthy side anyway.

We drove over to the Studios because we knew it would probably be a later night and we wanted to drive Mary and the girls back to the resort at the end of the night.

Soon we had arrived and parked and saw this:

We stopped for some photopass pictures:

Mary texted that they were on a bus so Mark and I browsed a couple of stores until they got there. And as you all know, we can't stop in a store without one of these shots:

Moving on:

The girls and Mary arrived. Hugs were given, we admired all of our matching shirts and decided to get our ride on.

Next up, we're off to see the Wizard.

I vote for your Croissant for breakfast!! I have Frosted flakes AT HOME:rotfl2:
Loving all the Christmas decorations :goodvibesand with you and Mark adorning them, they are just perfect:goodvibes

I have to say...I think you had more self control than I would have. I probably would have walked out with the cupcake!

:rotfl2:

Love the matching shirts so far! Can't wait to see a picture of all of you together with them. (there will be a picture of all of you, right?:goodvibes)

Yeah, the pull of having that bakery so close every morning would just eliminate all other breakfast choices for me! :rotfl2: The croissant looks yummy, but wow those cupcakes are making me drool! I was enjoying my little bowl of grapes until now... :rotfl:
Great Photopass pics, love the t-shirts!

Hi Kathy! :wave2:

Great pix and update, as usual. The girls look adorable in their matching outfits. Love the 2 space cadets pix and of course the now infamous Mark coolie pix. :thumbsup2

The photo pass pix with Cayley are priceless, love the sweet tentative look at her face meeting Aurora.

And if Mark can try on a pink (or purple) hat, real men can wear a Dumbo bag (at least for a pix)!. Especially one as priceless as a D original. I’ve followed her for a bit but have yet to post. I love all her creations.

OMG…. I couldn’t figure out what Cayley and Mark were pointing at in Mexico. Yup, I’ll have that on the brain next time we walk by. :laughing;

But you were really soarin’ on Soarin’ after that slushie. I’ll have to try that next time for a new experience. Might make me forgot that I’m 4 stories up! One of these days we must do the pick a pearl, especially since it is Sam's birthstone. :)

Innoventions has some pretty cool stuff. Love the piggy bank adventure. We did something once with involving being in our own video game.

Hope you were able to go see Frozen with Andy over the weekend. We loved it. And hope this birthday was awesome!.

Those glowing clown eyes definitely look creepy and a little possessed. What on earth was Disney thinking? Here’s your worst nightmare? :confused3 Yikes!
I think Mark showed remarkable restraint at the bakery with all those yummy desserts. Your crossiant looked as good as you desribed.

Think I’m caught up now. Waiting for the big surpirse. :)

Caught up!

:woohoo:

That is an adorable Dumbo bag!

What great pictures of the girls at EPCOT. I love the matching shirts which look great with all of the red decorations. The picture with the Pluto topiary is fantastic!

We haven't dined at Garden Grill. I think the only reason I would is that Chip and Dale are my favorite characters, but the boys are no longer interested in character meals- good for my wallet!

I was really disappointed not to see Mark in a beret, but he made up for it in Mexico. And China! :lmao:

Soarin' and Slushie- great way to end a night.

I love the picture of the ticket booth and window with the reflections.

Groovy Mickey hat! :hippie:

I typed up this post, and it never posted..GRRRRR

I am so behind, sorry Kathy

Soarin' after a slushie...I've done that WHOA!! :goodvibes

And I would've totally been eating cupcakes for breakfast, you and Mark :thumbsup2 Good job!

What else did I miss...oh the BWI pool at dark, YIKES. I love the BWI décor...BUT.....

I'll do responses later.

But I wanted to share my good news. I went for my mammogram this morning (for those who are new to my TR's, I had breast cancer seven years ago this month). I am happy to report that I got an A+ Fantastic on my mammogram today.

Woohoo!!!!! Yay!!!!!Hugs!!!

I also missed these photopass pictures (this is the problem with having separate folders ).
Come on, Kathy. We have higher expectations for you. :sad2: :rolleyes1

Mary and the girls went into Japan to pick a pearl. I took this opportunity to go and get one of these
You won. :thumbsup2

Close your eyes if you don't like scary clowns (especially ones in the dark)
It looks like the opening frame from some kind of a horror movie. Especially with the eyes lit up. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Healthy? At Disney World? Did he hit his head?

We ended up being more on the healthy side anyway.
Booo! :sad2:

That's awesome! You should have D make a matching murse for Mark. :lmao:

Okay, moving on to an update. I think it's about time as it has been 8 days since the last one. I have never been that far behind.
I like when you are behind… then I'm not soooo far behind. :sad2:

Yes, we were at the new and unimproved (in our opinion) Test Track. Here was the other car:
I agree. Making your car is fun but the ride itself is a letdown. I prefer the old version.

I have no idea why I took a picture of a closed curtain:

Maybe that was the best part? :rotfl2:

I guess I got no pictures of the rest of the food. What did we think? We won't be back. Mark and I were not big fans, but the character interaction could not be beat.
Sorry your meal wasn't good. Glad the characters kinda made up for it. I never think to eat at Garden Grill… I guess if we were in Epcot with Andy we'd probably eat dinner there. :rolleyes1

Mary and the girls went into Japan to pick a pearl. I took this opportunity to go and get one of these:

I know Melody is dying to get the GG slush. Hope we make it to the WS. :confused3

Look at him in the background!!! :scared1::scared1: :scared1::scared1:

Does he ever stop puking?

Great news, Kathy!!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

First off, so very very happy to hear about your test results! :cool1:

I probably would have walked out of the bakery with one of those super cute delicious looking cupcakes. You had more restraint than I would have.

As always, cute hat pictures while waiting on Mary and the girls.

Okay I missed on the meaning of this chapters title............

I just knew it meant you were headed to MK to hit you up some Starbucks first thing in the morning! :rotfl:

Although those cupcakes and other pastries look really good, I would have to pass on those too when it comes to breakfast. :(

Mark ended up with this:

Well, they ARE multi-grain..........

And I had one of these:

The croissant was very, very good. Flakey and fresh and soft. I loved it.

Mmmmmmm, just the way I like them. That looks a little small though, and I prefer an almond croissant if I can get it. Maybe your croissant and Mark's Frosted Flakes would do the trick. :scratchin

Soon we had arrived and parked and saw this:

We stopped for some photopass pictures:

I really like the DHS Christmas Tree and decorations (okay, the Osborne lights help). Love this PP picture! :goodvibes Great border and matching shirts! :thumbsup2

Mary texted that they were on a bus so Mark and I browsed a couple of stores until they got there. And as you all know, we can't stop in a store without one of these shots:

Mark needs to model that one while sitting on the Harley at DTD! ::yes::

I'll do responses later.

Here's hoping for many, many, many more!!! party:

yummmmmmmmmmmmm bakery.. FRESHNESS!!!!!!

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH all the jack stuff behind you!!! hard not to walk away with it all!!!

Of course the hats pictures are my favorite pictures EVER!!! :lmao:

What was Mark thinking...if you're staying at the BW, BW Bakery breakfast is a must...healthy schmealthy! I can't believe with all those wonderful options he was sensible enough to get Frosted Flakes...good for him.

I LOVE that Christmas t-shirt with the red/white/green Minnie head. I really need to up my game as far as holiday gear goes...I realize I have nothing except my Jingle Jungle 5k t-shirt...

I know that you're getting close to another trip...you must be so excited, I know we are!

All I can say is, that's some impressive willpower in the bakery. I don't know how you walked in there and didn't just say, "one of everything."

Here I am, all caught up!! GG was fun but the food was neh. I like Soarin but did not want to walk all that way to get on!! Hurray for the big surprise day!!
