I have read alot about the Disney turkey legs. Where can you get them?

My DH ALWAYS gets them from the turkey leg cart in frontierland but we've also ordered them in at whispering canyon cafe (WL)...but they were smaller and drier. Not as good IMO. I believe there is a CS place in MGM called toluca turkey legs and one in MK tommorrowland (cosmic rays mabey?) where you can get them also but I can't vouch for quality there.

don't eat more than one...they have your daily allowance of sodium!

They're all over the park - believe me you can't miss 'em!!!

IMHO they're okay - but I can never finish one...not because it's so big, but because I start disliking the taste after a while. I tend to like to share it with whoever I'm with :)

i usually get mine in tommorowland, in a stand near the stitch ride. i LOVE THEM!!! THEY ARE SO GOOD!

They are available in all four parks...enjoy!

I think the sodium content is more like a week's worth then a day's worth.

I thought I read somewhere that they contain 2400mg sodium. New FDA guidlines recommend a max of 2300mg sodium per day (which is kind of sad b/c even when I'm a 1500 calorie diet of mostly fruits and veggies....I STILL go way over this number).

Then again...the number 6000 is coming to mind. But I don't think thats humanly possible, is it? It would be like toting around a salt lick. I remember them being salty...but not salt falvored! :rotfl:

It doesn't get much better than this...eating a Frontierland turkey leg watching Wishes. :cool1:

Hey are you supposed to be cautious on what you eat while your on vacation at the World? :rotfl2:

Don't miss these. Eat 2 or 3....there so yummy.

My dad loves getting turkeys legs, I remember him getting them once in MGM near the TOT.

I saw them in Tomorrowland. I begged my DH to get one and split it with me, but he is not a Dis'er and was not convinced. I didn't want to get that big thing all by myself. Enjoy and report back how it is.

I cannot eat meat on a bone. Grosses me out. But, those things smell so good and if I have hubby peel pieces of for me, I can eat them and they are YUMMY.

I got mine at the Disney Studios at a stand down by the RNR. After smelling them for three days I had to try one. Oh. My. Gosh. It was so good I almost had to sit down.

Darn it... now I'm drooling.
