We are going to Disney World in a couple weeks, and I remember the turkey legs from my last trip (20 years ago!) being really good and filling. Where do you find them now at the MK? I read on a web site they moved to this Cool Ship kiosk, but I don't see them on the Cool Ship menu. Have they moved again? Thanks.

The whole turkey leg thing is lost on me - no offense to all turkey leg lovers -- but when I was there a few weeks ago there was a cart in Frontierland selling them.

Thanks! Maybe they are not as good as I remember. There is just one night on our trip that we don't have ADRs and we were going to wing it with quick service, and I remember the turkey legs being huge and filling. Just a possible meal option.

There are many MANY people who love them, so don't take my word for it! They are huge for sure!

Yeah there is a stand in Frontierland that sells them, I still love Turkey Legs at the parks and personally I find them to be really filling, if you haven't had one in a while it is well worth trying again though be expected to pay a lot for them!

Frontierland there is a cart that has them, also in disney springs right outside of the House Of Blues. They are the only two places that have them. They taste fantastic and they are big. Getting hungry for one now yummy !

I can confirm that as of Xmas, turkey legs had moved back to the Frontierland cart. They had temporarily moved to Cool Ship and are still available there (my dad got one).

Love them. It is not a Disney trip to me without at least one.

Just anecdotal, but my Dad thought the ones at Cool Ship tasted odd, he much preferred the one he had from the Frontierland cart. No clue what the issue was though. Maybe just a bad batch?

Toluca Legs Turkey Co. in Hollywood Studios has them, as well as Fife and Drum in Epcot.

WDW TURKEY LEGS "411":
1) Disney sells about 1.5 MILLION turkey legs every year!
2) That is about 7 turkey legs for every man-woman-child in Orlando.
3) Each of these bird legs weighs about 1.5 pounds for about $12 or 1-CS DDP Credit.
4) They supposedly come from 40-50 pound turkeys!
5) Nutrition, per WDW
. . . about a half day's worth of a grown-man's calorie goal (1,092 calories each leg)
. . . about a day's worth of a grown-man's fat goal (54 gr each leg)
. . . about two day's worth of a grown-man's sodium goal (5,283 gr each leg)
6) Recipe
. . . take uber-monstrous one leg
. . . inject copious amounts of salt brine
. . . smoke slowly at 225º for 4 hrs.
7) Available at the below (all Turkey Legs taste the same, and from the same vendor)
. . . MK - Liberty Square at Turkey Leg Cart
. . . MK - Tomorrowland at Launching Pad
. . . EP - America Adventure at Fife and Drum Tavern
. . . AK - Flame Tree BBQ at Safari Turkey
. . . AK - Dinoland at Trilo Bites
. . . AK - Africa at Flame Tree BBQ
. . . HS - Tower of Terror at Toluca Legs Turkey Company
. . . TL - Surf Doggies
. . . BL - Avalaunch

NOTE: We really do like the taste of the turkey legs. However, we seldom finish one, so
we save the calories for later. We still get the legs when we have a hankerin'. Additionally,
they do seem to be pretty "stringy".

I don't hate them like some will say but it's not something we get often. My son and I decided one hot summer afternoon to stop and watch a band at Epcot (I can't remember who may have been Paul Revere and the Raiders) so we grabbed a beer and a turkey leg to share thinking it would be a good snack. My son is a grown man who can eat a lot. Between the two of us, we were able to eat maybe a half leg and that ended up being not a snack but our lupper. Later in the evening we grabbed a snack from one of the WS areas and that was it for us. They are salty and a tad stringy but if you look at the recipe Rusty posted, assuming he didn't make it up, they really don't add anything but brine to it so it's not totally unhealthy (other then that pesky fat factor).
