Wendy...its not "good bye" but "see ya soon" I heard that Manton got a little wet eyed after the left the port

It was great to meet so many of you. I owe everyone the play list for the CD. I realized I forgot to put the stickers on the envelope.

However, it will be awhile. My parents opted not to contact the ship. They almost called a friend that works shoreside, but decided no to. On Monday morning my brother died...they decided not to ruin my vacation or make me worry. They called right when we got in the car.

I will hopefully fly out tomorrow morning...Sunday after thanksgiving has proven a challenge to find plane flights out of Orlando.

When I return I will make sure to post the play list.

I hope all made it home safely!!

That said it was a great trip and I suspect there will be a lot of Facebook invites coming up in the immediate future.

We are at the airport waiting for the 6:50pm flight. Nathan finally get over his feeling when we make a pit stop at Downtown Disney. He truly grown attached to some of his new friends and I don't blame him.

We bumped into IMA Princess at DTD, they were also killing time before their 7pm flight.

Have to admit, out of our 6 DCL cruises, this one is the most difficult to end. Your kindness and friendship made this cruise the most special. Cruising will never be the same for me.

This is the x times today that I feel teary eyed. Having to part with new friends and seeing my kid goes thru the separation. Then to read about Michelle's brother. It feels so remote from the Magic we experienced on the cruise. But just serves as a cruel reminder that we should live life to its fullist. I am looking forward to sharing additional time together with some of you. But 2 years is just too long to bear. I may look into DCL in 2010 if any of you are going.

And please, should you be in the Disneyland area, give me a ring.

Well, we're just outside of Atlanta slogging through traffic. It was so wonderful to meet you all. Chun, Andrew is definitely looking forward to So Cal next year and we are dreaming of the 2011 Dream (and maybe the July Carnival trip too). Take care all and don't forget to post photos.

It is sooo sad to be home and back to reality!! We miss all of our dis friends!! It was a pleasure spending the week with all of you!! Thanks to Wendy, Larry, Lindsey, Chun and Andrew...Mason is pin crazy!! In fact, thanks to your advice...we just purchased a set of 40 pins from ebay!!
We are looking forward to seeing you all again soon!!

We're feeling the post-cruise let down now as we just finished unpacking. I can't believe it's already over. It feels like just yesterday when Matt, Angie and their kids returned from there first Disney cruise (December 2007) and told us "we rebooked for the 2009 Thanksgiving cruise while onboard." I remember I was so happy, but thinking 'wow, that's still two years from now.' Where did the time go?

It was very sad leaving this morning. Rachel and Shanelle both cried when we all waved good-bye to the Magic as the bus left the port. We phoned Matt, and he said Manton was all choked up and glassy-eyed, and that Hannah cried and cried.

Guess we'll start the countdown for August 2011! (There's already a thread going that's over 100 pages!) I wish it could be 7 days instead of 5. (We're talking about going to Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach 2-3 days before we sail.)

Is anyone else still feeling the ship rocking?

Is it possible to be sea sick on land? I'm in the hotel and things are rocking horribly! Even Steve, who is usually fine post-cruise, is complaining of the rocking sensation! Sorry to say, but I don't think we'll be willing to do Eastern again from Port Canaveral....the ship has to go too fast to have the stabilizers out. Now, for the funny story. We stopped at a fast food place tonight for a quick bite. I was trying to reach for a lid to my cup and it kept moving. The poor man behind me thought I was either nuts or a druggie until I told him that I had just gotten of a cruise ship and felt like everything was rocking. I didn't have the heart to tell him that I was, in fact, nuts....but that's another story !

I hope this rocking sensation goes away by Tuesday. I have to make a presentation to about 75 people and they'll think I'm nuts as I stand up there and rock so that I don't get "land" sick! I figured out today at the outlet mall that if you rock when you are standing still (deliberately rock) things don't feel so odd. Don't know why that is....

OK we are finally home. I am having a horrible cough and chills but no fever. Hopefully it's not the flu. May have been the cold water in Castaway Cay. Anyhow I just took some NightQuil and will call it the night soon. Just want to tell my friends that we are safely home

Karen, I think we are having land motion sickness too. But judging by past experience this is certainly not the norm, at least for us. I suspect the blown engine may have ultimately caused additional shaking to the boat.

So wonderful and MAGICal to meet you all ! IT was a fantastic trip.

Michelle my heart goes out to you and your family - sending lots of love and hugs ....so sorry for the loss

DD is missing all her new friends - especially Leah and of course the boys...always the boys..

we left the Magic at 8am -- arrived home in NH at 10:15 last night -- just dropped into our beds...

was looking to see if there were any posts about our ENGINE problem and meet up with the Wonder!

Off to see the NEW MOON movie today -- then I will need to foodshop and do laundry - glad I took half day tomorrow~
