Tuna sandwich at CHH gone :(

I have heard of this sandwich and its legendary status. I am sad that I will not get to try it on our upcoming trip.

Two weeks ago I sent an email to WDW regarding my disappointment due to the discontinuation of the tuna sandwich. About 5 days later I received an email stating that this issue was being taken to the "leadership team".
Probably a standard reply but couldn't hurt to keep sending emails regarding our complaints about this.

I went to the WDW website and scrolled down to the bottom where the Help link is. Clicked on contact and on that page clicked on the email link.

Just broke the news to dh, he was not pleased. That was our go to place in MK ... just for that sandwich!

What a bummer. I wonder why they removed it? Profit margins not high enough?

I always alternated there...tuna sandwich, lobster roll, chicken nuggets or the shrimp options. Was told on 2/17 they “...had just run out...”

Lobster Roll was there in February. Delicious!!!!

Had it in lieu of the tuna sandwich. Have enjoyed it in the past, just didn’t seem ‘as good’ this go round.

Seriously, a good question. Going to gues either/or...their price, quality labor time to produce or supplier/sustainability/quality control issue

The B&C Reuben is quite good, I had it recently, but we love the tuna sandwich! Oh no, no more CHH for us, I guess

Thanks! I was so disappointed the Reuben at Sci Fi and the Plaza has been taken off the menu.

Very sad, it’s one of our go to as well. Disney is taking many of our favs off menus at MK. Totally changed Plaza Menu, so won’t be back there, took the Italian Deli flatbread out of Pinocchio’s, hot cheese topping out of Pecos Bill. Ugh. Not to mention the tuna out of CHH.

I loved the tuna sandwich and am bummed it's gone too.

However, all the people calling it "light" and a healthier option than all the greasy food...come on! That thing is at least 50% mayonnaise and it's served with POTATO CHIPS. It's FAR from light. I estimate the meal at around 1000 calories, easy.
