is there anyway to retrieve a deleted pm? I accidently deleted it befor I read it Where do they go anyway? Can I access it from my computer somewhere?.......yeah, I know this aint the Tech Board

It is technically possible for the board administrator (or anyone else that has root access to the server) to extract PMs (even deleted ones) from the database. However it would not be easy to do and I doubt that Pete would want that to be done because that would allow access to all PMs from/to everybody in which case they are no longer PMs.

Needless to say there would be alot of very unhappy people on the DIS if they found out that someone was access PMs other than the one sending it and the one receiving it.

So just ask whoever sent you the PM to send it again.

If I were to go really nerdy on you I would say that you can't map time travel since the space-time continuum is not linear and if you breach it you may not know in what time you will end up.
