Tube socks~ Remember wearing them?

OMG! I was looking at some old photos of DH and my brothers, they were wearing tube socks with short shorts. The socks look like they went up to their waists!!!! What were we thinking?

You know, I have a pic of myself after I had a permanent. DH, then DB, told me that I looked like Rosanna Rosanna Dana. Of course, he told me this after we were married.

Yes, well how do you think I kept that hair in a constant state of feather - the three month perm. As I recall most of my teenage years were spent with perm rods in my hair.

Did anyone have a sundress or a pheasant skirt? They went nice with the wooden platform sandals.

My father just recently stopped wearing tube socks. He has had some problems with blood clots in his leg so he wears support socks at work and short crew socks when he isn't. But if he didn't have the clot issues, he would still be wearing his tube socks. And when I say he just stopped wearing them, Im talking in the last month or so.
