Tube/Halter Tops answer from WDW

If I had to pick between people in tube/halter tops and people with their, um, "stuff" visible beneath their shorts I would certainly perfer the tops. My DH and I were in line at Splash Mountain in June and the two girls in front of us were wearing VERY short white skirts with red thongs clearly visible beneath them, not to mention their rears hanging out from under the skirts...it was so disgusting...

:stir: dont forget the men who wear white sports socks with sandals in them policies :rolleyes1

Hey, that's me! Well not quite....I wear sandals with socks in them, not socks with sandals in them! But your way would certainly attract more attention! :goodvibes

Good news, after a decade of pleading and teasing, I am converted and now wear the sandals "commando" as it would be called.

Considerations I might suggest: :rotfl:
1. If you can smell a person's perfume/cologne from 10 feet away upwind, send them back to take a shower and try again.
2. If when holding it up and examining it, it is more than a bit confusing to a regular Jane/Joe which holes are for the leg vs. waist, or for the arm vs. body vs. neck, it is probably not clothing meant for WDW
3. No curse words on the clothing PLEASE - we went to dinner the other night at a very nice restaurant, and the woman at the table next to us had a hot pink cropped t-shirt that said the B@#CH IS BACK...can someone explain the point of that to me? Of course the boyfriend/husband she was with had a similar shirt on with the "F" word on it. Unbelievable.
4. If the amount of makeup on puts you in competition with the Queen of Hearts, well, apply! You might just get the part!
5. After you take it off, if it retains the shape and stays standing, time for a wash...
6. They are trying to give you clues you know...if it is being sold in the teen section, and your present age doesn't end in "-teen", don't buy it. And no, thirty-teen is not an age. :lmao:
7. If a child (your or mine) has just finished a Mickey bar and enjoyed it very much, and has the evidence on his face and hands to prove it, he is not allowed to touch me until all the enjoyment is wiped or washed off
8. Lastly guys and gals, if you have to suck your gut in, lift your legs over your head, jump up and down, or get a running start to get that particular piece of clothing on in the morning, pleeeaase wear something else? :teeth:

I wore a halter top every day in May when I was there (8 days). Nothing was ever said to me. I am not well endowed. :guilty: :teeth:

Simmer down, dude! This is the Disney Forum, not Penthouse Forum!!
Dear DISBoard,

I never thought I would be writing to you, but this was so amazing I just had to write in. I was outside of Splash Mountain, watching the riders come down the drop, and...

I think Disney needs to enforce a bra policy - all women over a C cup must be wearing a bra. There should be a checkpoint specifically for this. All violators must squish themselves into a sports bra covered by a turtleneck.

And they should do an underwear check too. All women with low rise pants (or shorts) should have to sit down, and if any whale tail (thong above the pants) or coin slot (butt crack showing) is exposed they should be issued a pair of granny panties.

I'm still working on the policies for men but we definitely need to do something about all the chest hair. Oh, and let's not forget the men in tank tops with an overabundance of pit hair sticking out the sides. They will be dealt with most severely of all.

As I've said I'm still working on it. ;)

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Oh, do I love this! This is SOOOOO true! For the men, we also have to outlaw those shorts that are super-duper tight. Just looking at 'em makes me uncomfortable -- let alone explaining to my kids why Mom is looking at the sky all of a sudden!

It made my day! :smooth:

Wow... I just read this thread from start to finish and cannot believe some things that I have read.

I have a tube top. It isn't indecent, I can't see any clevage when I put it on... it comes straight across from my armpits. And, I have worn it to Disney and I certainly can't see any kids "minding" it very much. I don't even think they'd notice.

I'm also well endowed, and know how to wear it. It certainly wouldn't fall down if someone came up behind me and gave it a yank. So, if you see me in the parks... and I'm wearing a black tube top with white lace on the front, give it a yank ;) :rotfl:

Why is it such a big deal anyway? Any of you guys/gals have anything under there that hasn't been seen before, a zillion times already? Now if someone had something really exciting to keep secret, fine, maybe there'd be something to get all excited about. :yay: But honestly, glands, some muscles, a few parts of the human reproductive system...been there, done that, big deal. :confused3

You forgot to mention nipples.

And let the poofing begin!!!!

Ok I only read the 1st 2-3 pages, I think that if tube tops are outlawed, it should be across the boards not just for the busty group, anyone can fall out, of course some may have less to fall than others. 2 years ago there were alot of bikinis when we went which I did not think was appropriate--- fat or thin ---
