can anyone tell me if TTS takes c/c as a form of payment. I am interested in doing a small add on but I want to earn rewards dollars. I know I can pay by c/c thru disney but wanted to buy a resale.
Tom, just to clarify, you are not talking about debit cards correct? You're talking about physical checks provided by your CC that can be written, right?
By the way, I highly recommend the Timeshare Store. We used them on our initial DVC purchase and everything was perfect. The staff were exceptional, and I'm guessing that's because they've taken their cue from one of the best...Tom himself. A true gentleman if there ever was one.
I don't mean to conflict with you but your company does not take credit card checks, I had to get a certified bank check! LOL, not a problem for me, I still had a great experience and will buy from you again.

Thanks I will keep that in mind. We are going to VB for the first time & I thought if we liked it we might buy small contract. I am obsessed with earning disney rewards dollars on anything I can pay off each month.
You can use them for closing so long as you send them to the title company early, so the checks will clear prior to the actual closing. If you're not quite sure what the exact dollar number will be at closing, make the check out for MORE than you think will be needed. The title company will issue you a check for the difference at closing.
Keep in mind that using credit card checks is usually a very bad idea. Read your terms. All the cc checks I'm aware of state that:
1) you do not earn any rewards/incentives that your cc purchases would accrue had you used the cc
2) that those checks are treated as cash advances with fees accumulating from the day the check is cashed. Cash advance fees are generally higher than your regular cc interest rate.
Yes, I definitely know not to use the checks. I was just hoping if I spent $5000 or so on a resale I could get TTS to take c/c info like Disney does. An extra 50 disney rewards dollars is always handy. Thanks for the reply.
