TTC to Magic Kingdom gate?

With the monorail schedule currently reduced, can you only take the ferry from the TTC to the Magic Kingdom for rope drop? I think I heard somewhere that they sometimes offered buses too, but I haven't heard anything recently. Some friends are going to the MK from offsite, so they will be arriving in their rental car. TIA!

Most of the time the ferry is sufficient to take care of all the queues of guests at the Transportation and Ticket Center.

A notable exception is extra magic hour mornings. The ferry (and also the express monorail) might start their first runs to arrive at Magic Kingdom 15 minutes before public opening.

During EMH mornings guests wishing to take the other monorail from TTC may be screened to verify a restaurant reservation before being allowed to board.

You should still be at the TTC early, otherwise, even f the ferry does start earlier, then the number of people ahead of you at the turnstiles could still be many hundreds greater.

Things vary from day to day. Just go behind the ticket booths, and see what's running at the time.

Either the ferry, or the buses, or both should be running in time for RD.
