TTC thread take 2

Well, I gave myself the third shot tonight. It seems to be going good - no problems. I will have an ultrasound tomorrow and blood work. We shall see.

Don't you love it when you've had a crappy weekend and then, things start clearing?

I had a grand mal seizure this weekend while I was sleeping. (Mine are nocturnal; they happen at night). I woke up feeling like that scene where Capt. Jack is in Davy Jones locker in POTC3. (I swear, a really bad one feels like that.)

So, after resting, I get new assignments from my boss and an extension on the article I was working on.

Today, the stuff from DME came in the mail and I got us checked us in to our cruise.

But tonight came the best.....I tried on my old bathing suit......................

It looks better now than it did. I cried. I've worked so hard on this diet and it's really working.

And AF is still late.

I'm waiting for my DME stuff for our trip - it always makes me feel like the vacation is real.

Sorry bout the seizure Gabbie, that's terrible.:-( I totally understand because when I have insulin reactions at night, "night time phenominon" it wrecks me for the next day and leave me drained. Hope you feel better soon.

That's great news about getting your DME stuff and being able to check into your cruise. We will be able to do that in January and I so can't wait!

Of course the best for last! Great job on the weight loss and the fact that AF is still late. Do you think you will test soon?

Hi Ladies,

Whoa, this thread has been busy. I haven't been checking in as much because I am slowly letting go of the TTC process. We won't stop trying obviously, but I haven't been thinking about it as much the last few months and it's been good. (But I still want to check in on all of you every once in a while!).

Cherbear- I really hope this baby sticks!! And I hope you don't have a UTI

Esbrick- best of luck as you move forward with your donor process!

MommaSnowWhite- I hope these shots/meds work.

And Kennywife- I hope this is it for you.

So, my fibroids are making it late. Funny, the meds are supposed to regulate me. I hope so.

Well, I had my ultrasound this morning. I only had one mature folicle on tha right and nothing on the left.

The Dr. office is supposed to call me this afternoon to let me know what is next.

I am so bummed. I have had a headache for 3 days (probably from the Gonal F) and very little to show for it other than a messy house because I can't function very well.

They may up your meds and put you on another one as well. Don't give up hope yet and don't worry bout your house. The messy house and the headache will get fixed soon enough. I'm thinkin of ya!

I know all about those headaches girl. Everytime my meds are switched, I get a seizure and then a migraine. I know what you're going through. Put some ice on your head and lie down in the dark with no sound doing. That helps me.

I hear ya girl about being unmotivated. I have four articles to finish by Sunday and I have to get Kenny's tickets to WDW soon. (Mine are already covered by my boss)

What am I doing? Shopping on the Lush site again. I cashed in a gift card I had and got stuff for our trip. That was the extent of what I got done today. I figure after that seizure, I needed a break and a little retail therapy.
