TTC thread take 2

Update~

So I just spoke with L. Actually spent about an hour on the phone with her.:scared1: She actually did not find out she was pregnant until 2 weeks ago. In that time she found out she was pregnant with twins, however, one of them didn't make it. She did not know she was pregnant as she is irregular when she changes life style and stress so she didn't think anything of it when she skipped her cycle and was just as surprised as anyone. She and her husband had made an appointment to see the RE to discuss the egg donor option after her gynie appt. She was funny and told me that they had even discussed us trying to do our iuis with the embryos at or around the same day! She went to the gynie appt and found out she was pregnant.:cloud9: They did an ultra sound and saw the 2 babies, and then told her to come back 3 days later. When she came back one of them had died. Since she was 12 weeks at that time, she needs to carry both and deliver both:sad1:, which is a heartbreak in itself but her drs from what she told me are VERY supportive and are going to work with them through it.

I feel better now that I know the back story.;)

What a day! I think it's beer30 now! Whose with me?

Hugs to you Cher and everyone else. :grouphug:

Rough day here. I got my u/s bill....708. :scared1::eek: I called to set up a payment plan. Got my dental bill, another plan.

My editor rejected my article and I have to start over on it. :headache:

Oh and three friends are preggo on the first try! :sad2: I'm happy for them but geez.

So, I went to the beauty college and got my ears lowered today. (hair cut.) Then, went to Ross to buy luggage. I bought a carry on bad that was on sale for $29. It's striped zebra print and also a pair of cowgirl boots that were $14.

Now, I need a cocktail. I'll join ya Cher! :dance3:

Gabbie

I think it's MommaSW and me you'll be joining for those potent cocktails honey! Come on over and pull up a chair! We'll keep the virgin cocktails for Cheri!:goodvibes

Eilis I am so sorry for your friend

hugs for everyone else around here that has had a hard week.

We had surprising news here this week. Our newest foster baby that was only suppose to be here for 3 days may be staying a lot longer. If everything goes like we hope it will he will be here till he graduates :rolleyes1
He is doing better everyday, I have less fears for his future then I did when we got him. He is a little delayed but I know what to watch for and will keep on top of him. He is a budda and wearing size 9 months at 10 weeks.

Cher-I'm with you on the full bladder! That was torture, especially since, if they treated you like me, they just kept delaying! It was like they were doing it on purpose! Best of luck...I know the next week or so is stressful!!

I'm gonna wait a few more days and take another hpt test. I'm late. *Keep fingers crossed* Now, I'm late a lot, but usually, after hubby and I "alone time" I start (if it's close to my AF which it is) within a week, TMI I know. She's not here! :goodvibes My cramping and everything has seemed to go away. Now that may mean she's still coming or maybe I hopefully won't see her for 9 months....

oh wow, the other twin won't be absorbed?? That is both a happy and sad situation. I'm sure they are thrilled about being pregnant though. I'm glad you got the story on it. I know it's still hard for you though

well yes, I had to release some and I thought I was gonna pass OUT after I did that....it burned SO bad....then they finally dragged me into the transfer room after I left the bathroom screaming in pain! It was rough!

Gave myself my first Gonal F shot tonight! Only 5 more to go!

Those aren't too bad, right? :goodvibes

yeah I called the nurse this morning because I have the AZO cranberry pills that I always take when I feel this way and they haven't failed me the last 3 times. I asked her if it was safe and she asked me what's in them exactly. And then she said it was fine. So I'm taking them.

Hi Ladies,

Whoa, this thread has been busy. I haven't been checking in as much because I am slowly letting go of the TTC process. We won't stop trying obviously, but I haven't been thinking about it as much the last few months and it's been good. (But I still want to check in on all of you every once in a while!).

Cherbear- I really hope this baby sticks!! And I hope you don't have a UTI

Esbrick- best of luck as you move forward with your donor process!

MommaSnowWhite- I hope these shots/meds work.

And Kennywife- I hope this is it for you.

I hope everyone else is doing well and keeping their spirits up- wishing you all the best!
