Trying to figure out what is at the TTC. When we take the shuttle from SOG to TTC, I know the two monorails are there, but are there buses to the resorts/parks/DTD there?
We are going sans car, and I'm just trying to figure how we move from point A to B. TTC is always mentioned, but never really defined.
If anybody could let me know what it is all about, I'd appreciate it!

Buses to the resorts are in front of MK not at TTC. Buses to parks are at the TTC.

TTC is: (1) the Magic Kingdom parking area, and (2) a transfer point for certain trips including buses/shuttles to off site resorts, city transit (Lynx) buses, and all taxi pickups and dropoffs.

Currently non-Disney hotels Swan and Dolphin buses go directly to MK, Bonnet Creek, Shades of Green, and Hotel Plaza Blvd. resort buses go to TTC.

At SOG you catch Bus1 to the TTC to get to MK or Epcot or Bus2 to go to MGM, AK, the waterparks or DTD. Bus2 is just the name of the bus stop, there are several busses that use that bus stop, each will be labeled with their destination. Since the TTC bus comes every 15 minutes it gets it's own bus stop. Hope that helps!

We just got back from the SOG last week, fabulous hotel. We took the SOG bus, ran every 15 minutes, to the TTC. From there you can get the monorail to Epcot or take the monorail or ferry to Magic Kingdom. When the ferry is there, it is faster than the monorail.
We took the bus from SOG to MGM, but the pick up at the park was every hour. However, we didn't have to wait for the SOG bus to take us back to the hotel. We
just took the Disney bus from MGM to the TTC and then picked up the SOG bus from there.
We had a car so drove to DTD in the evening, so I don't know how that would work. Probably much like MGM. ??
I would not say we had a good handle on the schedules; just seemed that anytime we wanted to go somewhere, there was transportation waiting.

:flower: Thanks all. That clears it up some. Still a little worried about the B bus being every hour at SOG - may be taking trips to the TTC or the Poly to get where we need to go. I wasn't planning on DTD, but my DH & DS gave me that "but we have to go to DisneyQuest" big sad eyes look. :( So now I have to include that in the itnerary that I thought I had finalized. So now planning to go there, and it seemed so separate from the rest of WDW.
Always second thoughts and polishing up! Planning is fun, but I can't wait to get there! Just hope the transportation works well.
A rental car is an option, but if we get one my husband wants to go to the Cape. Been there, done that, can do it again, but not this trip. This is all about Disney! :cheer2:

Another option is that from wherever you are you can catch the disney transport bus to the Poly and then walk back to SOG, it's only about a 10 minute walk.

I wouldn't worry about the bus every hour thing, they'll give you a schedule when you arrive and then check the board to be sure it doesn't change(the board is in the express cafe down by the bus stop) and you're all set. I found their busses very easy to deal with.
