Where would you go if you wanted a great TS breakfast, but didn't need the characters? We are going again in July with our kids and will do PLENTY of Character meals, so we were looking for a breakfast location that was good, but it doesn't need to have characters. We will be staying at the BWV...but it doesn't need to be near there!

Thanks!

Try Kouzzina! It's right there on the BoardWalk and serves one of the nicest and most underrated table service breakfasts on property. I particularly enjoy the vegetable flatbread and the turkey-sweet potato hash. I think the restaurant may even have outdoor seating in the morning. I know Spoodles -- Kouzzina's predecessor -- did, but I can't remember if those tables still exist.

If you're willing to travel a bit, I also really enjoy Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I prefer it for dinner, but I still consider it the best breakfast buffet in Disney.

I would suggest The Captains Grille at the YC, they offer a very nice buffet or you may order ala carte if you prefer and since you are at BWV it will be very convenient.

OLivia's, Kona, and Grand Floridian Cafe are all good non-character TS spots.

Honestly I would only do character breakfast and never lunch or dinner. Reason is we like to get into the parks before they open, the kids love all breakast foods but get super picky for the dinner ones, the food at breakfast is always great but at dinner is pretty bad and extremely salty.

If you are stuck on your plans then I would go to Kona for a non character meal

Grand Floridian Cafe is our favorite followed closely by Kona. Boma for a buffet.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I think we will try to do a few of them. I'm going to check out some of their menus now! :surfweb:

We are doing plenty of character meals in our July trip with our kids (Chef Mickey, CRT, Crystal Palace, Tusker House, Cape May) so we thought we would try some different things on this trip. :)

If anyone else thinks of something let me know, I'm still figuring out our touring "plans" and going to make my reservations for meals soon!

If you are staying at BWV then how about just having breakfast in your room. I do like kona though. I was always a fan of their stuffed french toast. Don't know if they still have it. Love breakfast at Olivia's. The home fries there are great and I love the trpical bread. Very quiet and laid back. Nice relaxing way to start the day. Don't know about Boma at the AK. I have only done Boma for dinner but I loved that.

Whispering canyon at WL is fun, too. It's a la carte or the skillet. My kids love it!
