I have removed places we don't want to do as Akershus due to princesses, signature restaurants and few we went to last time and don't want to return. Any recent reviews for the long list of remaining options!

2 adults and 10 year old, on ddp (as 3 adults) so price not an issue but also we don't mind if we don't maximize credits

Biergarten
Rose & Crown Dining Room
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria
Tokyo Dining
Chefs de France
Tutto Italia
La Hacienda de San Angel

I loved Garden Grill. Be forewarned that there is virtually zero ADR availability in the next couple months. I wanted to eat there again before the 20% AP Discount ends, but couldn't find any ADR on any of my dates. If you can get in, its basically the same food you will find at most "Family Style" TS restaurants -- Pot Roast, Turkey, Mac and Cheese, Fries, etc...and its AYCTE which is nice. When I was there, Chip and Dale, Mickey, and Pluto came around several times during my meal and interacted with me and the other tables. The restaurant also turns (very slowly) through part of the land so that it makes a full rotation in a little over an hour. It was great experience and its in the same building as Soarin' and Living with the Land.

Biergarten and La Hacienda are both in our regular rotation. Rose and Crown is good, but basic pub food. I liked the food at Chefs de France, but it was so crowded that I'm not in a rush to go back (tables very close together, long wait even with ADR).

I love Spice Road Table! It's a hidden gem. The food was great and service was exceptional. You also can often get same day ADRs, and if you plan ahead, an ADR at around 7:30 or 8 pm can put you on the patio for Illuminations, which is quite nice.

What was it about the "few we went to last time and don't want to return" that you didn't like? That might help weed out some of these.

The Garden Grill - character interaction is great (Chip and Dale are hysterical), food is kind of bland, the rotating effect in the restaurant is kind of cool
Biergarten - food is good, music is fun, you have to sit at big communal tables and your table mates may or may not acknowledge your existence
Rose & Crown Dining Room - food is fine if you like British food (not our favorite)
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria - great pizza, if you want pizza. Otherwise, not great in terms of atmosphere
Tokyo Dining - service is fantastic, food is mediocre, sushi is not great
Chefs de France - super, duper salty food. won't eat here again
Tutto Italia - not the best Italian food. quite overpriced for what you get
La Hacienda de San Angel - the better of the Mexican restaurants
Spice Road Table - best 1 credit TS in EP, IMHO. food and service are consistently outstanding (this is our go-to EP TS)
Restaurant Marrakesh - super bland, won't go here again
San Angel Inn Restaurante - great atmosphere, disgusting food
Nine Dragons Restaurant

We went to Rose & Crown for the first time a few weeks ago and I have to say the burger there was the best I’ve ever had. My DH got the fish and “chips” (what we call steak fries) as did my Dd. I can’t remember what my son had but I do know we ate it all. The beer called Harp was very good with both the adults’ meals. Hope that helps

Went to Garden Grill this past September. The food was good, especially the sausage and Mac and cheese lol. Character interactions were great especially once they saw my birthday button.
La Hacienda was fantastic. The food was amazing and the server was decent, possibly new so we didn’t hold anything against her. If I had known ahead of time about the view I would have gone during IllumiNations.

For a big group? I was able to book for 2 for lunch for NYE just today. It's one I find there is availability most every day I look. But maybe it's because we only need 2 or 3 at most
By the way, I highly recommend their breakfast if you haven't had it yet. I booked it day before just a couple weeks ago, for 8:00 AM. Barely anyone there, we were in, out and on Soarin by 8:45. With so few guests the characters came by our table about 5 times each

I ate at both Garden Grill (breakfast) and Tutto Italia (dinner) just a few weeks ago.

Garden Grill - I love breakfast here, although it is not necessarily the best value for a TS credit. Food is fresh and staff has always been pleasant. Character interaction is great - like the others have said, you will usually see them multiple times. My party size is usually 2, 3 or 4, and I always ask for a table on the lower level. Sitting on that level makes it feel like a relaxing experience - not so much noise and hustle and bustle. Basic breakfast food, but it is hot and yummy. Also enjoy the big bowl of fruit and Chip's sticky bun :)

Tutto Italia - I had dinner there alone using DlxDP. I love that they start with olives and bread. I had the Caesar salad, Chicken Parm (this was not on menu but advertised on a flyer on the table), and the stracciatella gelato for dessert. The server was very attentive, perhaps because I was alone? She checked back frequently without being obnoxious. The food was all good. The entree was 2 huge pieces of chicken along with pasta. I was leaving the next day so could not even take the leftovers :( I did not even finish one piece of the chicken. I love this place, but find it hard to eat here when paying OOP due to prices.

San Angel Inn - I had always wanted to eat in there, and was so excited when we scored a same day ADR in June. I had the Tacos de Carne, and was not impressed. It will be a while before I go back. My friends enjoyed their meal, so maybe I just chose the wrong thing.

Chefs de France - I first went there in Dec 2015 on a CP package, and that has spoiled me! I really enjoyed my meal, and have been back a few times since then. This is a good choice on the DDP if you like the offerings on the Prix Fixe menu. I already have this booked for Dec 11th on a CP package again (Kurt Russell!!!).

Good luck - hope you enjoy whatever you choose!

One. When I checked a few days/week ago there was nothing for any of my dates in November or first half of December (my pass blocked out Dec 18 to Jan 2). I do see a few for November now, but they're early (Dinner before 5) or late (Lunch after 2 PM, Dinner after 7 PM). I don't see anything on my December dates.

We love Biergarten (great food & entertainment). We also love Garden Grill (great character interaction & food). My husband is an extremely picky eater & did not like much of the food & our waitress was awesome & brought him chicken tenders...lol

Not sure if you know but often it's easier to find an ADR for 2 than for 1. Something screwy about the way they load them in the system. You can always book for 2, showing up with 1 won't earn any penalties or anything.

We're partial to Rose & Crown, but we do tend to order the full dinner options. Their salmon is phenomenal. I've had it at least 3 times, and I'm impressed each time. Part of our enjoyment is almost certainly due to fireworks viewing. We've gotten healthy doses of pixie dust every time we've been here, and I have pictures to prove it!pixiedust:

We also really love Biergarten and La Hacienda. Tutto Italia, Chefs de France, Teppan Edo, and Le Cellier are usually on our long list, but get edged out by the top 3.

We have yet to try Spice Road (DD is SUPER PICKY and can't stand Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food) and we're not big on pizza, so we haven't tried Via Napoli either. Both are well liked on these boards.

The Garden Grill - Its been a while since we dine here, great character interaction and the food is served family style, the restaurant slowly revolves so another neat attraction.

Biergarten - Fun and really beautiful inside...The food is good, very hearty and heavy, the service is stellar... There is table sharing with other guest so if this is not something you would be okay with or enjoy, then this might not be a good choice.

Rose & Crown Dining Room - It has that pub feel, table's are very close together... The fish and chips are very good, but you can get the same one outside at the quick serve location.

Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria - I know this spot gets a lot of love, but for us... it wasn't all that... the pizza was gross, under cooked in the middle and over cooked on the outside and service was total lacking our server could have cared less about waiting on us, except when presenting the bill then she was all smiles...

Tokyo Dining - super food and great service... in fact we are locals and planning on dinner here in a couple weeks.... Also Teppan Edo which shares the restaurant with Tokyo dinning is a fun and lively spot, good food and service.

Chefs de France - this is one of our fav's, love it plan to relax and enjoy your meal this is not a hurry up kind of spot..... the table are very close together which is the only negative...

Tutto Italia - great food and service... much better that Via Napoli - very beautiful, inside and the food is done very well.

La Hacienda de San Angel, San Angel Inn Restaurante - Nope to both of these... a waste of time and money, and if you like your food beyond spicy hot, then its the place for you... But if not... I would not suggest going here..... they really don't have any option that doesn't involve some type of hot pepper or sauce... We have a local Mexican restaurant we go to and the food is great, has great spices and the food is really tasty...

Spice Road Table - We tried this a few years ago and it has become our tradition to have dinner here before seeing the singing Christmas tree.. The food is wonderful, and while it looks so exotic in the menu if you break it down its not... wonderful and warm service...

Restaurant Marrakesh - have not tried yet...

Nine Dragons Restaurant - its been years since we had dinner here, so I really can't comment on this restaurant.

We are not much for TS dining but we enjoyed the Biergarten. I was surprised by the variety of the food. And I did not leave hungry!

We love Via Napoli, it's a must do for us each trip, usually our last meal of the trip because it's consistent.

The only other two of your list I've been to are Rose and Crown and Chefs, both in 2015 and they were both good, but I'm not really interested to return to either. Too many other better options.

Wow. I always assumed San Angel and la hacienda wouldn't have spice. Maybe I should try there. Lol. Actually I went to San Angel once and wasn't impressed either.

My mother went to Disney In September 2017 and got to watch the Illumination firework display (our favorite) from her window seat in La Hacienda, over dinner and drinks! It's a bit of a risk- depending on how long your food takes to cook, how soon you are actually seated, how close you can get to the window (you can ask, but there is no guarantee). My La Hacienda lunch was tastier than my San Angel dinner a couple years ago, but I love the atmosphere of San Angel (one of my earliest Disney memories is the three musketeers boat ride and that huge fluorescent pyramid)! My biggest goal for my May 2018 WDW trip is Illuminations during a La Hacienda dinner.
