Trying to get to World of Sports complex

My son's team will be playing at WWS Complex. We are trying to decide where to stay... rent a car?

Just wondering if all/any of the resorts have direct transportation to the world of sports complex.
or if you have to to get to ticket and transportation center and then go to world of sports complex.

As with many Disney web pages, that information is not entirely correct. Buses run only when there are events scheduled, not every weekend, and they don't always run until 11pm.

It's also worth noting that at CBR, the EWWS buses stop only at Custom House, not at the stops near the guest rooms.

I was at Disney last year for HS. softball spring training. The buses we used were not regular Disney buses but rather large tour buses. They picked up and dropped off in the parking lot between Barbados buildings 14 and 16. Most of the high school teams were housed in that section. I don't know if the buses were for just the teams and coaches.
ESPN WWS is really close to CBR. A taxi would be fairly cheap.

It's up to the event's sponsor to hire charter buses, or not. The larger the event, the more likely charter buses will be available.
