Ok I am trying to decide between the Deluxe dinning plan and and the other dinning plan that only has one table service meal per day.
Can someone tell me the pros and cons of both and help me figure out which would be best and how many credits for each I will have.

Here goes: it will be me, DD and DH so 3 people.
We will check in VERY late on Tuesday Oct 16 like 10 or 11pm and check out on the morning of Oct 20th to head to a Cruise. So with the Deluxe plan how many credits would that be for 4 nights for 3 people. I know its going to be alot of food for that trip but we are wanting to go to alot of resturants that take more than 1 credit each like CRT and The Luau and such so any advice will help. So how many of each credits will we end up with?

Now how many would we have if we tool the plan that only had the 1 table service meal PP. per day...

Is the dinning plans worth it?

You get credits for every night you stay in the resort.

On the standard DDP, you get 1 counter service, 1 table service, and 1 snack.

On the deluxe, you get 3 credits that can be used for either table service or counter service + 2 snacks.

You are staying 4 nights so multiply those by 4. They are good from when you check in until midnight of the day you check out.

PS - there's a sticky with more details right at the top of this board:

We have done both the regular DDP and the deluxe, we prefer the deluxe as it seems to fit our needs better. We too do a lot of signature (2 TS credit) restaurants and the additional credits give us the flexibility to do so. We love being able to have a scheduled time for sit down meals with the kids, it is just the reprieve we all need on our busy day in the parks. Some people think its too much food or too much scheduling, but we think it works perfectly for our family.

BTW~It appears we will be in the world at the same time!

4 nights on the Deluxe Dining will give you 12 meals per person and 8 snacks per person total. So for you and your husband, there will be 24 meal credits, and 16 snacks.

You don't mention your child's age, but if she is under 10, her credits will be child's credits so not pooled with the adult credits - she would have to order kids meals where available. If she's age 10 or over, she will get adult credits...so that will be either an additional 12 meal credits (adult or child, whichever applies to her) and 8 snacks (snack are the same whether adult or child.)

If you want to do several 2-credit meals, then the deluxe can work very well. When we've used Deluxe, we would typically use a couple of snack credits or breakfast (like get a pastry and a fresh fruit, then use our refillable mugs for coffee or soda) Then we'd use one meal credit for lunch--always at a table-service restaurant, often a character buffet...then get a signature dinner using 2 meal credits each in the evening.

The big trick with the deluxe is to remember that you'll get multiple courses, so it's a lot of food...spread your reservations out...we found that we needed to allow at least 5-6 hours between the end of one meal to the beginning of the next, or we just were not hungry enough to do justice to the next meal. So if we had a big buffet lunch at noon, we'd schedule dinner for 7 or so. Even with that, we still had leftover snack credits at the end of the vacation.
