It's been a while since I've been here. Planning a new vacation. The old ticker was in place so I created a new one from distickers dot com and tried to apply the BBcode and it keeps coming back as a url. I copied and pasted it in and also clicked on the link and inserted into the box. Still no image. Does that mean I have to post 10 more recent posts?

No, the "signature" is what appears at the bottom of your post. I don't have a signature. Yours currently reads "A dream is a wish your heart makes when you're fast asleep"

I don't know that you can change your username, other than starting a new account.

I also would like to change my name too

There isn't a way to change your user name. You can simply stop using the current one and create a new one...the old will eventually drop away from non-use.

One thing - if you set up a new username, first you need to go into the old username account and change the email address (if you intend to use the same one for the new name). I believe you can't have two accounts with the same e-mail.

You can't change your username. All you can do is stop using that account. And create a new one. Don't reply to the old one if someone quotes you and eventually the posts with your actual name will drop far down the boards.

One note - if you do opt to create a new account, you must go into your old account and change your email address. You can't have two accounts with the same email address.

Then create a new account, using whatever username you wish, and only post using that one.

If you wish to make a post, without a quote in it, you just start typing in the reply window and then click "Post reply". If you click "Reply" at the lower right of someone's post - you'll quote it.

The avatar gave me the browse option & I just selected the file on my computer -- yea, me! HaHa -- but the signature isn't giving me that option. I click on the image icon & it asks for a URL. Help me Obi Wan; you're my only hope!

You need an IMG code to put a photo in your signature. At least I had to. I couldn't just drag & drop like I can for posting photos. Use a photo hosting site (I use tinypic.com) to get the IMG code. Then paste it in the signature window. Be sure to click "save changes" when you're done.

Once you have 10 posts all the features are available - signature, avatar, conversations.

Not sure what a "tracker" is.
