After reading the thread on Pop Warner we decided to move our ressies from the Pop to a moderate. Well unfortunately for our dates they are full, even the lower priced deluxes are full.

Does anyone think this will change. Should I keep trying back or accept that we may be overrun with kids at the Pop???

BTW - Our dates are not changeable so if we are to go to WDW it must be then.

Also - this is an adult only trip and our major concern for the resort is to have a quiet place to rest/sleep in the evenings.

I think more stay at All Stars. I thought Tyler said they don't stay at POP.

I would ask at check-in for a quiet area. You can keep checking on the other resorts.

What is Pop Warner and what dates is it?

I have been told that Pop is the spillover resort for groups. So if the all stars become full, Pop will get the spillover from the Pop Warner groups.

If we were going with children or had a longer trip I wouldn't be so concerned. However, this is a very quick weekend shopping trip and we want a nice quiet area to relax the couple evenings we will be there.

There was a thread about this a few days ago with real good info. Bascially it is about 8 - 10,000 children/coaches from the Pop Warner football and cheerleading leagues. The games and events will be held at the WW of Sports Complex.

It has been said many times on this board.....keep trying. Call once or twice a week until your trip, I bet you will get something you'll be happy with and maybe even with a discount (though I certainly would not count on that). Example here.....my best friend and her boy friend are going Nov 11-15 and wanted to stay at the BWI. I called for her way back in May as soon as we came home from our trip and there were no rooms available then!! Called maybe 4 or 5 times and about 3 weeks ago got a standard view at the BWI.People cancel rooms all the time so I wish you lots of pixie dust and perserverance!!!
