Why don’t you just hop in the standby line. It likely won’t be as long as you expect.Exactly... looks like we aren't going to get to ride it now. We don't buy the multipass

TRON has the perfect setup for line stacking as well, with a (somewhat small, but still has a few switchbacks) indoor queue after the preshow. They could let fewer people into the preshow so that the indoor queue is not needed and can be closed off and just like that you have more people waiting outside. Why don’t you just hop in the standby line. so annoying and doesn't really make sense to me. why not include the highest demand attraction in the park during early morning hours? seems like a cynical move to jack up LLSP sales.
Line Stacking appears to have been in place and very effective this evening. The posted wait in the final hour of normal operation rose to 95 minutes while the actual wait was reported at 30 minutes.TRON has the perfect setup for line stacking as well, with a (somewhat small, but still has a few switchbacks) indoor queue after the preshow. Yes, but last night at extended evening hours the line was ridiculous. Posted 30 minutes , but when we walked up to the top of the ramp, the whole outdoor queue was packed. We decided not to waste our extra hours waiting and rode space 3 times, haunted mansion and big thunder twice all in the last hour instead of TRON. The last few days it seems getting over to TRON just after the initial rope drop crowd seems likeSo tron is open for extended evening hours but not early entry at this time?
Yes. And from the initial reports, they are waiting until normal rope drop time to open. During VQ times, I've had my boarding group called 5-10 minutes before normal rope drop time.So tron is open for extended evening hours but not early entry at this time?

the best plan. I mean…. If you want to waste your EEH waiting for it… by all means. It makes the other lines shorter for us!
I looked at the wait times right at the start of EEH…. It was 85 minutes around 10pm. Obviously all the regular day guests hopped in line at the end of the night. From there, the time started dropping quick. We were doing other rides and then around 10:45 when I checked it had dropped to 30 minutes. So we went over. The line was actually all the way down the ramp because they were having trouble scanning people. Apparently a lot of people still don’t realize only deluxe guests can get in line for rides…. I saw this a ton last night. People thinking the park was still open and not understanding EEH. Anyways…. We scanned in and saw how backed up the queue was at around 10:45. My kids said they would rather ride space mountain over and over than wait for TRON, so we did that instead…. Which was a walk on.What time did you head over there during EEH? I was going to attempt to hop in line at the end of the night next Wednesday but if it's still that ugly even then we may just bounce.
Yes, they are waiting until 9 to open. A line forms at early entry and people wait the 30 minutes of early entry in line. The last few days, that has made our Space Mountain rope drop quite enjoyable!

Our exact MO, we always zig where everyone else is zagging. Though we don't mind throwing money at the problem to allow us to do that successfully. I did go ahead and buy SP for Tron on the day we plan to rope drop MK . I consider it the "stress free morning tax". But I will still monitor wait times to see if we can get a second ride in with minimal waits. We usually RD Space on our main MK day.
We don’t RD headliners. Way too chaotic for me.
We are staying AKV so will have EEH and plan to do Tron and 7DMT during that time.
That’s the very definition of Line Stacking. They close the indoor queue and let the line spill out into the courtyard. This makes the line appear to be longer than it really is in order to discourage late riders.Yes, but last night at extended evening hours the line was ridiculous. Last night, the posted wait just before closing time was 60 minutes. The actual reported wait was 15.What time did you head over there during EEH? I was going to attempt to hop in line at the very end of the night next Wednesday but if it's still that ugly even then we may just bounce.

Our EEH is our arrival night is why I went ahead and bought it though. Our flight is super early so I'm not sure we'll be able to hang that late, but we're planning a deliberately chill afternoon so we can save our stamina.
We try and hit Buzz first and then onto Space as we are not quick walkers and that queue takes us a while to get through. We found that by the time we are off of Space they have let down the rope for the guests staying off property and so we just have gotten 1 done during EMH. This way we can cross off two (or at least be in the queue) when EMH has ended. We usually RD Space on our main MK day.
also: nobody likes epcot EEH, hahaThanks, I figured that would be the case. MK seems to be much worse re: guests not understanding EEH than Epcot, but that stands to reason given MK is the more popular park with casual guests.
True! I literally just see it as one more time to ride Cosmic Rewind lol. If not for that I would probably skip it.also: nobody likes epcot EEH, haha
There’s all of 3-4 rides that you can do that aren’t short waits during the day and you spend half the time walking because they’re so spread outalso: nobody likes epcot EEH, haha
I guess so. I was thinking it wasn't even open for EEH, but I guess I was wrong. I thought only paid AH guest were getting the privilege. So tron is open for extended evening hours but not early entry at this time?
