Just curious, would a dress shirt and tie work or do you really need to wear a jacket? What if you have tritons the first day. Does luggage come early enough to be able to get ready for early seating?

You will be fine in a dress shirt and tie. We saw a handful of jackets and evening type dresses, but for the most part men were in collared shirts w/ khakis and the women were in capri pant sets and casual dresses. (even saw shorts/t-shirts/tank tops)

Have a great time!

Oh, as for the other part of your question: We had early seating on our first cruise and late seating on our second. Our luggage arrived in plenty of time to dress. Hours ahead of early seating.

We are leaving for our cruise in 2 weeks. On nights we don't have to dress us for formal, semi-formal or Tropical nights, I was planning on wearing black dockers with a blouse. Do you think this will be fine?

You don't need anything more than nice pants and a shirt in tritons. No dressing up required!

Your luggage should arrive in plenty of time for you to get ready for dinner. On both cruises..we had our luggage..some pieces by the time we reached our room..no later than 3:30. They have until 5:30 to deliver it to you..something like that.

I told my husband the dress code when we were planning our trip. I figured he could take care of his clothes while I packed mine and the 2 girls. Well, when we got there he didn't bring a jacket or a tie. He had lots of nice shirts, shorts and one pair of black dockers. When we were getting dressed and I said you can't wear that you have to dress up. He acted like he had never heard this part of the details. He was worried that he would look out of place with out a tie & jacket. Once we got in line to go in. We saw all types of ways people dressed. He was not out of place at all. Even though they ask for you to wear a jacket and tie, I felt like the atmosphere was still casual. People were still laughing and having fun. It wasn't real stiff feeling. If that makes sense
