Trip spanning 2 use years

We have a february use year. Our normal fall trip isn't going to work out this year, and we have a few banked 2010 points we want to use before they expire. Because of dh's work schedule January is the best for us. We would like to go late in January to hope for better weather. If we booked the week I want the first few days would be this use year, the last would be February and next use year. Would I need to bank our points from this year for the nights starting feb 1? Would we end up with 2 reservations?

The points for the days in January 2012 must come from your 2011 use year (current use year for those days) or the days could use banked points from your 2010 use year (and you could also borrow from 2012 if you needed to do so).

The points for the February 2012 days must come from your 2012 use year (current use year for those days) or you could use banked points from your 2011 use year or you could borrow from your 2013 use year. You should bank any 2011 points you aren't going to use before 1/31/2012 and the points need to be banked before you ask to make the reservation that is going to use them.

You would only have one reservation if all the days are available when you make the reservation.

You might have more than one reservation for the trip if you have to waitlist or if you decide to get one of the dining plans for just a portion of the trip.

Thanks - that's what I thought but I wanted to be sure. I guess in a way that would be good anyway - if something came up at the last second and we had to cancel at least only part of the points would be lost as the rest would be in their correct use year. Now to get my dh to commit
